Applicants must hold a third level qualification in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
Applicants must commute daily to the Cork City Office (Mon-Fri)
Carrying out all stages of design in relation to Light Gauge Steel Facade systems
Learn to locate/source drawings on CDE platform project sites and issue requests for information if not available through RFI’s.
Interpreting structural/architectural working drawings to develop Cad/Revit/BIM design layouts.
Work with in house Designers/Structural Engineers to develop job specific construction details, good team communication/team work.
Liaise with Clients, Architects, Main Contractors in delivering design in line with building regulations, structural requirements, building services requirements and specification requirements.
Developing drawings and issuing to Design Manager for approval before issuing to Project team for approval/review etc..
Co-ordinating and issuing Construction status drawings to the relevant site team.
Estimating material quantities/sizes for delivery onsite.
Preparing O&M Manuals and issuing to the relevant clients at the end of each project.

Role: Site Engineer/Manager

The position available is for Site Engineer/Site Manager to join our clients team. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing civil engineering and groundworks projects, ensuring their successful completion on time while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. The projects will be predominantly based in the south east region.
Duties will involve overall surveying and setting out of the Construction Site, attending regular management team meetings, managing Sub-Contractors and Personnel on site, liaise with the Design Team, Contractors, Sub-Contractors and all other on site staff, oversee the quality control and safety measures on site, ordering and controlling of materials.
Requirements:
Third level qualification in Engineering or related discipline.
Knowledge of various types of construction and construction techniques.
Competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
Computer literate and familiar with MS Project, (or similar scheduling package).
