Hours: On average you will work 6 hours and some days you may only work for an hour. Regardless you will paid your full day rate.

My client in Essex who design & manufacture signal switching and simulation for use in electronic test and verification, are currently seeking an Engineering Test Technician. Within this role you will be responsible for life testing of new components to ensure suitability for future use as well as following customer-led enquiries that often require bespoke testing.
Duties of the Engineering Test Technician based in Essex include:
Perform technical tests and investigations on a range of new and legacy products using equipment such as:
Virtual Network Analysers, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies (including HV), and more
Write C++ code in Visual Studio to automate tests
Produce detailed test reports of new products and organise results for future viewing
Communication with various departments to resolve any issues discovered during test
Soldering cables/connectors used for testing, replacing and fault finding of faulty and/or missing Components
Organise and ensure all department equipment is calibrated to UKAS standards and records maintained.
