JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
WTI Foreman is responsible for the oversite and performance of safety, efficiency, and quality of the WTI field service business. Safety is our number one priority and will be embedded into every discussion, meeting, and project. As the clear and established leader of the WTI crew, the WTI Foreman is focused on safety, crew management, and efficient execution of all WTI Projects assigned within their respective region. It is the responsibility of the WTI Foreman Technician to deliver timely service to all our WTI customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct the daily onsite safety brief before the start of the WTI project with the Sales Rep, customer, and the WTI Crew. Inspect and make sure all surroundings, equipment, and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns. Complete the Daily Hazard Analysis form and submit it to the Supervisors as applicable. Ensure all project communication is completed before the start of any WTI project. This includes but is not limited to communication with: Sales Rep on weekly/daily schedule WTI crew members to discuss the scope of work and daily tasks The customer pre-arrives, upon arrival, and after the day's work WTI Supervisor on schedule changes, project and crew updates, etc Efficient project management will include managing team start and end times and production rates and ensuring tools and materials are available to safely and efficiently complete the assigned project. Complete the project per the scope of work or specification. The WTI Foreman will complete an end-of-day and/or end-of-project walk-through to ensure quality repairs and address any items before leaving the job site. Before and after pictures will be sent to the Sales Rep, and information will be sent daily on the project status. TheWTI Field Resources Supervisor is responsible for the timely delivery of services, profitability, and all employee management and training within their respective region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate staffing and scheduling of all WTI Field Reps in his/her respective regions to ensure proper utilization of manpower on specific jobs for the highest profitability. Collaborate with other Field Supervisors as necessary. Ensure employee training and awareness in EH&S procedures, analyzing financial implications of program and regulatory changes. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
4+ years' experienceleading and contributing to compliance and regulatory policy and program development in a materials processing environment. Formal training in occupational health and safety. Process Safety Management (PSM) and Class 1 Division 1 (C1D1) are highly preferred.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Certified Safety Professional preferred. Ability to travel across North America approximately 10%. Broad understanding of regulatory compliance requirements, risk assessment and mitigation programs in multiple (particularly North American) jurisdictions. The WTI Commercial Façade Foreman is responsible for the oversite and performance of safety, efficiency, and quality of the WTI Commercial Building Envelope business. Safety is our number one priority and will be embedded into every discussion, meeting, and project. As the clear and established leader of the WTI crew, the WTI Foreman is focused on safety, crew management, and efficient execution of all WTI Projects assigned to them. Travel will be required. It is the responsibility of the WTI Commercial Foreman to deliver timely and the highest quality service to all our WTI customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Actively administers and enforces Company safety policy and program to minimize accidents affecting employees, the public, and property. This includes responsibility for conducting safety meetings, complying with governmental regulations, reporting and investigating accidents, and planning site-specific job safety procedures, including: Conduct the daily onsite safety brief prior to the start of the WTI project with all onsite project personnel (Sales Rep, Customer, WTI Supt & Crew, etc.) Inspect and ensure the safety of surroundings, equipment, and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns. Complete the Daily Hazard Analysis form and submit it to the Supervisors as applicable. Ensure all project communication is completed prior to the start of any WTI project. This includes but is not limited to communication with: Sales Rep on weekly/daily schedule WTI crew members to discuss the scope of work and daily tasks The customer prior to arrival, upon arrival, and upon completion of daily work WTI Supervisor on safety, schedule changes, project and crew updates, etc. Efficient project management to include managing crew start and end times, production rates, and ensuring tools and materials are available to safely and efficiently complete the assigned project. Complete the project per the scope of work, design, and specification of contract and engineering documents. Complete an end-of-day and/or end-of-project walk-through to ensure quality repairs and address any items prior to leaving the job site. Before and after pictures will be sent to the Sales Rep, and information will be included in daily project status reports. These items will include detailed work performed updates, materials consumed, and supplies purchases, which are all recorded daily. Supervises, directs, and coordinates the scheduling and execution of projects in assigned areas. This responsibility includes job start-up, job execution in accordance with contract specifications, job shutdown, and manpower scheduling, all consistent with the planned costs of the job. Manages field personnel, including, but not limited to, recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, and retaining the quality and number of production personnel needed to meet operating demands. This responsibility also includes laying off personnel, disciplinary action, employee assistance, and handling union matters relative to employees. Ensure that all WTI Field Labor will have a professional appearance and customer interaction while completing services for a customer. Responsible for tracking and monitoring project inventory. Maintains the highest quality on-site customer relations in projecting a positive image.
