What You Will Be Doing
Lead a technical function as determined by the Company, concerning a specific remit of technology and/or infrastructure, across relevant markets and countries.

What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role
At least eight years of demonstrable experience working in a communication service provider environment, either directly or indirectly.
Expert-level understanding of telecommunication and IP protocols (SIP-T/I, RSTP, SS7, SIGTRAN, IPSEC).
Solid understanding of PSTN and PLMN concepts, together with a working understanding of modern telecommunications infrastructure.
Experience with Ericsson IMS infrastructure is considered mandatory. Experience with Broadworks AS would be advantageous.
JCNIE or CCIE qualified. Equivalency will be considered.
The following functions will be within remit, but it is expected that operational activities will, in full or in part, be undertaken by specialist teams.

Requirements
2 + years of experience in similar technical background. Bachelor's degree in engineering or chemistry. Paint, Coating, Adhesive and Sealant industry experience preferred. Knowledge and demonstrated application of industry standard Quality Management and Quality Engineering practices. Demonstrated application of Statistical Process Control and Process Capability Analysis. Strong understanding and experience in application of analytical tools such as Gauge R&R Studies, Measurement Capability Studies, and Multivariate Testing/ Design of Experiment. Experience with material testing and generally accepted laboratory practices. Very strong problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization including manufacturing plants, technical and management personnel. Strong written and verbal communication skills. ASQ Six Sigma certifications are preferred.

Provide process engineering support for raw materials, compounding, production, and packaging functions to improve safety, and support the MS 168 continuous improvement process.
Production Support
Support daily production needs through process troubleshooting, experimentation and support for production requirements.
Continuous Improvement
Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce cost, increase material utilization, improve first time right, integrate new products/processes into production and reduce variation. Implement necessary changes and update all documentation (including drawings and SOP's) accordingly
Capital Plan

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial engineering 0 - 2 years' experience in manufacturing environment. Six Sigma/lean manufacturing experience. Understanding of process control methods, flowmeters, level monitors, and other process controls within a batch manufacturing process. Ability to read and interpret process drawings (process flow diagrams and P&ID's). PLC with ladder logic analysis. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. PC usage with MS Office Suite (AutoCAD experience a plus), strong interpersonal skills, good communication skills both written and verbal.

I&C engineer and supported by I&C technician team. Responsible for the design and review of all I&C equipment and instruments for the Plant. Explore solutions to production problems or improve efficiency with maintenance and operators. Run experiments and tests to aid in the development of improved manufacturing procedures and processes, and become familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures. Work and coordinate activities with the other engineering disciplines, Process, Project and Environmental. Prepare, review and/or approve of instrument specification data sheets and submit purchase requisitions for approval. Prepare equipment lists, instrument index, I/O lists. Review process flow diagrams and piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs). Meet with plant technical staff to discuss technical information and features. Ensure drawings, specifications, reports, and analyses meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements. Participate in failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) and Process Hazard analysis (PHA) to consider equipment, personnel, and environmental safety. Knowledge of capital approval process and project justification required. Be involved in the design and development of equipment and work procedures. Be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and updating process hazard analysis. Ensures necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines. Takes responsibility for I&C Engineering Change Management system. Coordinate and approve all sample submissions of new products and engineering changes through the Product Development Program. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
B.S. degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. Preferred, 2+ years working in a Manufacturing environment, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Electrical Schematic and panel layout design using CAD (preferably AutoCAD Electrical) experience. Experience in the design of programmable logic controllers (PLC) or distributed control system (DCS) based controls systems. Expertise in National Electrical Code requirements in industrial facilities and hazardous locations. Proven understanding of integrating instrumentation with data acquisition hardware. Proficiency with electrical diagnostic equipment. Familiar with industrial sensors and actuators; pressure, temperature, accelerometers, motor controllers, flow meters, relays, strain gauges, valves, and pumps. Strong technical and non-technical writing and verbal skills Able to work in the United States without sponsorship. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents and/or scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
