You will undertake training at least one day a week in your salon with a qualified hairdressing tutor and assessor. You will be working towards completing a Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professionals - Hairdressing qualification

Training Outcome:There are many employment opportunities and career progression routes for a qualified hairdresser. You may wish to continue working in your chosen salon, widening your experience. You could use your qualification to open your own salon. You could even take this qualification abroad with you, working in a salon abroad or on cruise ships. There are many options and career progression will be widely discussed with you during your apprenticeship. Training:
Training takes place at Milton Keynes college, Bletchley in the college hair salon
Training in the college is one day per week during college term time
Training also takes place in Decesare Hair Salon which is based in Woburn Sands
The job is 5 days per week and includes Saturday and one late night to 8 pm per week
Training Outcome:
The salon employs you as a hairdresser and you work your way up through job promotions
NVQ Level 3 is an option
We have many external training days including a fully paid for world wide hair tour, so far the locations have been Berlin and Valencia
Employer Description:Established for over 30 years. High end salon over 2 floors with air conditioning. Uses high end Davines products and colour range as well as hair extensions. Employs over 10 people with a range of ages and experience.Working Hours :The salon is open Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm or 11am to 8pm. Saturday hours are 8am to 4.30pm.
