Prepare paint batches for products and following standardized formulas, or create experimental formulas.
Preform lab support activities which may include routine maintenance or upkeep of equipment and lab areas.

Essential Functions:
Handles all technical inquiries from field personnel, Sales, CMG, and IMG Investigate field issues to ensure cause is understood and repair method is sound. Manages QA-22 system for the region, determining issue and cause. Analyzes QA-22 data for trends and implements necessary changes or additional training as needed. Coordinates sample taking and lab testing. Provides onsite training on new products, new techniques, etc. for all field personnel as required Responsible for quote/order review to ensure proper products, coverage, labor, and details are accounted for to ensure a quality installation Works specifically with new TM's and all field personnel to ensure they become technically competent with regard to site evaluation, quoting, detail handling, jobsite role and quality audits. Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering Ability to proactively identify opportunities and quickly implement solutions. Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication, presentation, organization and planning skills. Must be very flexible and able to work in a self-directed, rapidly changing environment. Must be computer literate with experience using technology and customer relationship management software (Salesforce.com), and Microsoft 365.

You will play a key role in system integration, verification, and validation, ensuring these complex simulators meet rigorous operational standards and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities
System Integration
- Lead the integration of hardware and software subsystems into cohesive flight simulation systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and execute integration procedures.
- Diagnose and resolve integration issues, optimizing system configurations for performance and reliability.
Verification & Validation
- Define and execute test plans to verify functionality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and conduct test procedures to validate the accuracy and reliability of flight simulation systems.
- Produce detailed reports on test results, deviations, and corrective actions.
Customer Acceptance
- Act as the primary point of contact during customer acceptance phases.
- Conduct system demonstrations and customer-specific tests to secure final approval.

Issue Resolution
- Respond to issues identified during testing or customer feedback.
- Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and technical support to resolve complex system problems quickly.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, or a related field (Masters a plus).
- Strong understanding of flight simulation systems and components.
- Proficiency in system integration, hardware/software interfaces, and performance testing.
- Experience with simulation tools and platforms (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, RTOS).
- Familiarity with standards such as DO-178C and DO-254.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities.
Desirable
- Experience with Full Flight Simulators, Flight Training Devices, or other simulation environments.
- Customer-facing experience in system acceptance and post-delivery support.
- INCOSE Systems Engineering training or certification.
- Knowledge of commercial and/or military flight simulation regulations.

Physicist – Defence Systems – Cambridge
A recently established and growing defence company, located in Cambridge, is currently seeking a couple of Physicists to contribute to the invention and development of cutting-edge technologies used in various capacities to ensure the security of defence, aerospace, telecommunications, and other sectors where security is of paramount importance.
You will collaborate with a team of experts, including electronics, engineering, design, embedded systems, and other physicists, to develop these systems. Working alongside this expert team will offer you continuous opportunities for skill development.
Given the diverse range of systems and technologies you will work on, we welcome physicists from various fields, such as microfluidics, sensors, optics, acoustics, electromagnetics, thermal physics, and other complex domains. Ideally, you should be proficient in analytical, numerical, and finite element simulations, as well as hands-on engineering physics for building systems.
