I am recruiting for a well-established civil and structural consultancy that is continuing to grow due to a strong pipeline of residential and commercial developments. This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineer looking to take ownership of projects, work closely with clients and developers, and further develop their technical expertise within a supportive and collaborative environment.
You'll be involved in the design and delivery of a diverse range of developments, from residential housing schemes to commercial and mixed-use projects, with exposure to projects from inception through to construction.
The Role As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for producing detailed infrastructure designs and supporting the successful delivery of development projects across the UK.
You will work alongside experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams, contributing to technically challenging developments while maintaining high standards of quality and client service.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing highways, drainage and infrastructure designs for residential and commercial developments
- Producing site development proposals from concept through to detailed design
- Designing drainage systems using MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, and Causeway Flow
- Developing earthworks and infrastructure models using Civil 3D
- Preparing technical reports, drainage strategies and supporting design documentation
- Liaising with local authorities, statutory bodies, architects and developers
- Supporting planning applications and technical approval processes
- Managing workload across multiple projects while meeting client deadlines
- Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
What You'll Need
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Previous experience working on residential and/or commercial development projects
- Strong experience with Civil 3D
- Proficiency in MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, and/or Causeway Flow
- Knowledge of highways and drainage design standards
- Understanding of Section 38, Section 278 and Section 104 agreements
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
- Working towards Chartership or keen to pursue professional development would be advantageous

Skills/Experience:
Experience as a Systems Engineer, with commercial experience of managing large installations of macOS and iOS devices.
In-depth knowledge of macOS and iOS, and experience with device management tools.
Experience with Apple hardware management tools (ideally Jamf)
Significant experience using Google Workspace
Significant experience running corporate networks and WiFi.
Experience in a previous IT support role.
An understanding, empathetic and patient approach to working with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
A proven interest in the technology industry and a commitment to improving IT security.

Our client is looking to appoint a Security Engineer to build, integrate and maintain the security capabilities that protect its systems, data and people.
You will work closely with Infrastructure, Cloud, Development, DevOps and other security teams to embed security earlier in the technology lifecycle and reduce reliance on manual security processes. This is a hands-on role, engineering and improving security capabilities across cloud, identity, endpoint and vulnerability management. Our client is looking to appoint an Application Security Engineer to embed security into the software development life cycle. You will act as a subject-matter expert in application and cloud security, providing assurance, secure design guidance and vulnerability remediation support, and ensuring that secure coding, monitoring and vulnerability management practices are consistently applied.
