The Role of the CAD Revit Technician
As the CAD Revit Technician you will be producing Temporary Works designs and drawings on a day-to-day basis
Production of in-house manufacturing drawings to meet business demand.
In addition, as a CAD technician, you will produce Revit families in line with their product ranges.
You’ll be directed to produce one-off project work as directed by the Engineering Manager, Chief Engineer, or Senior Engineers.
A key part of your role as CAD Technician will be to provide technical support to the sales team / customer (project related / non-project related) when required.
Self-management of allocated workload to meet customer / business demand.
Based in the company’s Manchester Engineering Centre.

The Role Join our dynamic engineering team as a Machine Shop Technician, reporting to the Machine-shop Supervisor and working closely with Production Planning and Purchasing. You will be responsible for creating programs for CNC machines using 3D CAD models and technical drawings, setting up and operating CNC equipment, and ensuring quality components are produced on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan the most efficient machining operations for each job.
- Create, set up, and run CNC machine programs based on 2D drawings and 3D CAD data.
- Ensure work consistently meets high-quality and technical standards.
- Complete preventative maintenance and maintain equipment.
- Fully back up all CNC programs for repeat orders.
- Communicate effectively with the Engineering team to capture any design changes during manufacture.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations at all times.

As part of our 200-strong In-Service Submarine Engineering Team, you’ll be joining a group of dedicated professionals who support both in-service and build-stage submarines. The work is varied and meaningful, ranging from design investigations and feasibility studies to maintaining the technical records and configuration data that keep each vessel safe and operational.
