The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for providing administrative support to the distribution center. Duties include, but are not limited to, general clerical, receptionist and project based work. Responsibilities
Logistics Coordination
Schedule all outbound LTL pickups, inbound deliveries for the Fenton DC. Communicating with the DC Manger and Warehouse Supervisor on a daily basis regarding problems or special situations that occur, esp. issues with product availability and backorders. Maintain correspondence with truckload brokers for the best rates and dates for shipping high-volume orders and transfers. Communicate scheduled pickups with the management team to prepare loads for pickup. Follow-up with key Accounts (Home Depot, Lowes) on missed pickups. Utilize vendor transportation links to schedule pickups including Home Depot, Lowes, Grainger, Sears/Kmart, True Value, Tractor Supply etc. Work with Export department to setup container pickups.
Distribution Center Administrative Support
Daily use of copy, fax/scanner, and printers. Work proficiently within the Microsoft Office suite of products (i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook) and business software (SAP). Maintain spreadsheets for tracking data in a variety of reports. Process all inbound and outbound paperwork daily. Communicating with Distribution Manager on operational problems. Provide support for various projects and lean initiatives. Track daily productivity numbers for all associates on the floor. Handle all data entry for inbound and outbound shipments for the Fenton DC.
Inventory Management
Correspond with Pacific DC on daily inbound loads of inventory. Complete all data entry for inbound loads from Pacific DC. Complete all data entry for inbound and outbound loads. Correspond with the warehouse floor on any inventory errors/issues and perform data entry as needed. Correspond with the Pacific DC and Pacific Production on inventory needed to complete orders, etc.
Customer Service
Communicating on a daily basis with Customer Service on various shipments that need to leave the Distribution Center. Sending back orders for changes that need to be made. Handle inbound calls on product availability, allocations on Hot orders and backorders for on time delivery. Checking emails frequently for new situations with customers and deliveries to achieve timely solutions.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of experience in the relevant field. Work proficiently within the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel & Outlook) and business software (SAP). Previous experience in a manufacturing/warehouse setting is preferred. Ability to calculate and solve basic math equations. Ability to apply principles to solve practical problems. The Fugro Marine Environmental team within the Marine Site Characterisation business line is looking for an experienced and driven Senior Marine Environmental Scientist with a focus on benthic habitats, to join the reporting team based in either our Portchester office or Edinburgh’s Heriot Watt University campus on a fixed term contract.
The Marine Environmental team specialises in worldwide environmental site characterisation and environmental monitoring. The data we collect enables our clients and regulatory organisations to fully understand the effects of developments and activities in the coastal and marine environment.
This is a pivotal role which will include training and mentoring a team of Environmental Scientists, analysing seafloor photographic data collected using AUVs, ROVs and drop-down video, quality control of seafloor photographic data analysis, providing technical input into innovation projects, analysing multi parameters datasets including photographic data, macrofauna data and physico chemical data, producing and quality control of high quality technical reports.
Your key responsibilities will include ensuring work is of the highest standard and quality, training and appraisals, preparation of environmental technical reports utilising mapping software, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
You will ensure all activities are carried out to company specific standards and are in line with our QHSSE policies.
Who we’re looking for
Essential
BSc or MSc in Marine Science, Environmental Science or relevant equivalent;
Experience of writing and quality control of habitat assessments;
Experience of benthic species ID and sensitive habitat assessments;

As a Legal Secretary, you will provide essential administrative support to fee earners in the Private Client Department, assisting with matters such as wills, probate, trusts, and other private client services.

An exciting opportunity has opened in the Norwich area for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer. This role involves installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarm systems across various sites.
Role Overview:
As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarm systems in commercial and residential properties. You will work closely with clients to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and ensure their systems are functioning optimally.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems.
Perform regular inspections and servicing to ensure fire safety standards are met.
Diagnose and rectify faults on fire alarm systems.
Provide technical support and advice to customers.
