This is an excellent opportunity for someone with alloy wheel, automotive or body repair experience who enjoys working independently and wants the opportunity to increase their earnings through an uncapped commission structure.

The Role Alloy Wheel Technician
As an Alloy Wheel Technician, you will be carrying out alloy wheel refurbishment and repairs
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out high-quality alloy wheel repairs and refurbishment
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
- Managing your workload efficiently to maximise productivity and earnings
- Providing excellent customer service
- Working safely and professionally at all times
- Maintaining the company vehicle and equipment
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as an Alloy Wheel Technician desirable
- Previous experience within the automotive, body repair or accident repair industry essential
- Good attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
- A full UK driving licence

Undertake appropriate job preparation prior to commencing repair, including safety precautions, panel preparation and body measurements
Identify the material used in the construction to enable the correct joining techniques and manufacturer specifications to be adhered to
Interpret relevant technical data and methods to make sure that any joints are in line with vehicle manufacturer specification and the vehicle/body panels are aligned correctly
Ability to identify and understand the correct joining technology
Remove, repair, and replace vehicle body panels and components of the vehicle safely and efficiently
Operate the correct repair tools, equipment and devices used in the process, panel pulling systems, jig and alignment tools, spot welders, brazing tools
Identify and communicate supplementary damage such as panels that were deemed to be reparable but once worked on were found to be beyond repair along with damage that could not be established on original inspection
Ability to detect and rectify faults within a vehicles structure that’s integral to its safety

BCA Automotive Fleet, based at CTS Corby, are looking to recruit an HGV Technician apprentice. What you’ll be learning:
As an HGV Technician, your role will involve diagnosing faults, performing services, and carrying out repairs on HGVs and buses. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will learn to:Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the key responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
Perform vehicle servicing and inspections
Carry out both general and preventative maintenance
Repair and replace vehicle parts as needed
Diagnose faults using advanced onboard diagnostic systems.
While also:
Ensure that all job cards and service / inspections sheets are completed properly and legibly
Understand and work according to parts order procedures, warranty claims and exchange items
Ensure that customer requirements and expectations are met
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
Training delivery.
In this programme, all aspects of heavy vehicle technology are embedded in this dedicated programme and involves a mix of academic learning and on-the-job training.
Practical learning in the workplace, shadowing your mentor and carrying out the work while being supervised
Online studies, completing workbooks and job cards, attending online sessions and virtual classes with your Development Coach, all done during your working day
Attending block release to the Remit Training Academy in Derby every 2 months. All costs of your hotel food and accommodation plus all travel arrangements are covered by BCA/CTS
Hours: The shifts are 4 on 4 off, both night and day shift. Under 18s won’t start before 7am or finish after 11pm.Wages: £8.70 per hour plus a 10% shift allowance
Training:Training is delivered in the workplace and on block release to Remit’s Automotive Academy in Derby. There are a total of 16 x 1 week blocks over the 32 month programme. The costs of hotel accommodation, food and travel are met by the employer and there will be no cost to you. You will also receive 1-2-1 support from your Development Coach to help you achieve:
