As an apprentice at WES Engineering Solutions Ltd, you will be required to attend college 1 day a week, complete all college-related assignments and work within your own time with the companies' support in a timely manner.
Within WES you will be expected to demonstrate a desire to learn and develop. You will be assigned to different areas of the factory where you will be supervised by the section relevant Cell Leader, both shadowing them and learning, as well as being given tasks to complete independently to drive your learning forwards. You will move from section to section, gaining knowledge and experience across the various departments.
You will fall under the Production Manager and Operations Director’s responsibility and be provided a safe working environment.
You will work Mon-Fri during all breaks from college – 0730 – 1630 Mon-Thurs and 0730-1230 Fri. This will be the same during your college terms except for the paid college day release.
You will have the opportunity to work overtime and potentially shifts later in your apprenticeship.Training:
