Cloud Project Engineer
Two vacancies have arisen with an extremely well-regarded IT Service Provider for Project Engineers, ideally with experience working within an IT Service Provider or Managed Service provider environment.

The Corporate Project Engineer is accountable for providing capital engineering support within Operations. This includes executing engineering projects for capital installations $200M+, project management from design through startup, and providing long range technical planning and strategies for the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for capital project execution including equipment selection, justification, CAR processing, purchasing, and installation. Support start-up efforts including in person training and documentation. Design, recommend, and implement manufacturing systems that are designed for machine, human interaction, method/process, raw material & environmental variability. Design to incorporate Lean principles to improve reliability, ease of use & maintenance, minimize changeover times, and to minimize production losses. REQUIREMENTS:
BS in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering preferred. Industrial and Electrical Engineers with hands-on mechanical & chemical experience will also be considered. 7+ years of engineering job experience. Good project management, written and verbal communication skills are required along with a high level of initiative. Demonstrated strong leadership skills, in project and people management in a continuous improvement environment in the areas of production, safety, quality and Lean manufacturing principles.

Position Summary:
Carboline is looking to hire a Field Technical Service Engineer to cover various parts of our Gulf Region seeking candidates located near New Orleans or Baton Rouge. This position will be responsible for traveling to job sites providing guidance and technical support on startups, problems encountered on the job, and coatings inspections on various Carboline products. This individual will assist with routine in-house work such as product evaluations, equipment maintenance and panel preparations. This is a very hands on role requiring frequent travel and heavy interaction with customers, applicators and the Carboline sales team. When not traveling in the field, this position will work out of their home office providing technical support through phone calls and email. This individual will need to be very familiar with linings, coatings and fireproofing products with prior experience working in the industrial coatings industry. Individuals with NACE certifications are highly preferred.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years Technical Service experience within the Industrial Coatings and or Fireproofing Industries
Preferred Requirements
Valid Passport; NACE Level 1, NACE Level 2 or NACE Level 3 (SSPC or AMPP)
Physical Requirements
This position requires occasional physical activity. May require lifting up to 75 lbs on occasion. May require computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours in a day. Be able to climb and meet the requirements of a 1A Ladder. Occasional exposure to various chemicals. Will require travel of 50% plus, including nighttime and weekends. Must be able to pass a respirator fit test & maintain respirator requirements.
Duties
Preparation of panels prior to coating. Have a good understanding of the basic operation of hand tools, power tools, abrasive blast cabinet and pin welder. To include minor maintenance of same. Responsible for maintaining a stock of standard panel systems. Provide documentation for panels which will be tested. Spray nuclear testing orders upon certification. Package and ship sample panels. Starting position in Field Service, will handle routine field jobs within capabilities. Travel approximately 50% of the time. Contact customers / salesmen to gather pertinent data prior to field trips. Demonstrate proper use of mixing equipment, airless and conventional spray equipment, etc., to apply Carboline or SPC products in the assigned divisions. Interpret surface preparation standards per specifications. Demonstrate use and techniques involved with inspections equipment. Train supervisors, inspectors, and painters in the above technical areas. Assist in application of new or revised product evaluations, new equipment evaluations. Carry out procedures as defined in the Technical Service Procedures Manual. Perform assigned routine office duties as required for department function. Lead AV Installation Engineer – This is a new role in where you will be working for the pre-eminent AV systems integrator in London who specialise in both the high end bespoke residential AV market and in the MDU space. The company offer some of the best training available in the country when it comes to AV systems, this will be both through in house training and manufacturers training. They now require a new member of the team to help deliver projects to the highest standards, if you want to win awards for your AV projects then this is the place to be.
