JOB PURPOSE:
As a Cybersecurity Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of our organization's digital assets and information systems. You will be responsible for implementing, managing, and monitoring various security solutions, policies, and practices to safeguard our systems from cyber threats and attacks. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining a robust cybersecurity posture and fostering a secure environment for our operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Security Infrastructure Management Monitor security systems such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software to detect and respond to security breaches and incidents. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security controls are integrated into network and system architectures. Make recommendations regarding software and hardware that can strengthen information storage and security records. Other cybersecurity initiatives required by the business. Vulnerability Management Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and to identify and remediate security weaknesses and help in conducting PEN tests. Coordinate patch management processes to ensure timely application of security updates. Identity and Access Management Manage user access, authentication, and authorization processes. Implement and enforce corporate policies and multi-factor authentication (MFA). Incident Response and Recovery: Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures. Coordinate and lead incident response efforts in case of security breaches or incidents. Developing plans and procedures to safeguard and recover data. Security Policy and Compliance: Enforce corporate security policies, standards, and procedures in all operations. Ensure compliance with applied industry regulations and NIST CSF cybersecurity frameworks. Develop, execute, and track the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure and computer systems. Security Awareness and Training: Help in cybersecurity training and awareness programs for employees. Promote a culture of security awareness and best practices. Research the latest in information technology security trends to keep up to date with the subject to use the latest technology to protect information. Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor the company's networks to keep an eye out for any security events and incidents and investigate it if one does occur. Monitoring systems, servers, and networks for any signs of incursions Conduct security incident analysis and provide recommendations for improvement. Familiarity with threat hunting tools Security Auditing and Reporting: Perform regular security audits to assess compliance with security policies. Generate reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and remediation efforts. Write reports outlining and explaining the events of cyber-attacks when they occur. Identify, define, and document system security requirements and recommend solutions to management. Cloud Security: Monitor cloud security tools and services to identify and respond to security incidents. Utilize cloud-native security tools and services for continuous monitoring and threat detection. Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure cloud services meet industry regulations. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations by enforcing data protection measures.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Security+, Network+, or similar industry recognized certification is a big plus. Strong knowledge of Networking and Web technologies. Familiarity with cloud security best practices, architecture, and services Administrative knowledge of M365, Zscaler, CrowdStrike, and SIEM technologies is a big plus. Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance e.g., PCI, NIST, CIS Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Strong knowledge of Anti-virus Anti-malware technologies. Strong knowledge of email security technologies, knowledge of Mimecast is a plus. Strong knowledge of Windows AD and AAD environment. Ability to adapt to evolving cloud technologies and security threats. 3+ years of experience in one of the eight cybersecurity domains.

Relevant certifications in specific Firewall vendors
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network security issues
Experience in assessing and mitigating security risks

Security Cleared Firmware Engineer – DSP Engineer - Cambridge – Spin-Out Company
A new Spin-Out company, based in Cambridge, providing product development for Security Cleared sectors, is currently looking for an experienced Firmware Engineer or DSP Engineer to work on a wide range of new technologies.
You will be working on a range of new technology inventions, providing expert approaches to Firmware Engineering and DSP Engineering applications. Due to the varied nature of the work, we ideally seek someone with knowledge of FPGA, DSP design and engineering, DSP Modelling, and design using embedded systems. Not all of these areas are required, but having experience in as many as possible in your past roles as a Firmware Engineer or DSP Engineer would be advantageous.
Specific experience working on high-speed electronic systems would be ideal but is not essential.
If you have previously worked in a security-cleared environment, it would be fantastic, although not essential as they are open to candidates from different sectors. However, you must be able to obtain security clearance. This usually means being a British Citizen or residing in the UK for five years in continuous employment. If you already hold security clearance from another source, this would be acceptable.

What You Will Be Doing
Data Centre Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operation of data centres, ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently
Perform routine checks, periodic maintenance and troubleshooting of data centre infrastructure, covering all power, cooling, and security subsystems
Monitor environmental conditions within data centres to ensure optimal operating conditions are maintained
Design an in-DC catalogue of both external and internal services, and a set of procedures and protocols to manage the life-cycle of those. Ultimately, build a customer portal to increase the operational efficiency and customer experience
Design, implement and enforce a commercially oriented operational model, ensuring a secure customer access to the facilities on a 24/7 schema
Develop and maintain documentation for data centre security and operational policies, assets and services inventory, and core DC technical infrastructure designs and configurations
Facilities Management:
Manage the maintenance and upkeep of company facilities, including office spaces, equipment rooms, and utility systems
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to schedule and oversee facility repairs, upgrades, and renovations
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
Implement energy-efficient practices to reduce operating costs and environmental impact
Develop and maintain emergency response plans for facilities, including fire drills and evacuation procedures
Security and Compliance:
Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect data centre assets from physical and cyber threats
Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001, as applicable to data centre operations
Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate a team of data centre technicians and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Facilities Management, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data centre management, facilities maintenance, or a similar role
Strong technical knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including servers, networking, cooling systems, and power distribution
Experience with facility management software and tools for monitoring and maintenance
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
Proven track record of successfully managing projects from conception to completion
Knowledge of industry best practices, standards, and regulations related to data centre operations and facilities management

Duties/Responsibilities, Core Knowledge:
Maintain a safe, comfortable and clean work environment. Assist with all new and or renovation construction projects. Assist with contracted outside services as required. Perform or oversee maintenance repair-related work to the facility. Assist with site management, building, and occupant security. Respond to and complete service orders in a timely manner. Maintain building and site-related records, including physical data. Correct as required all potential liability and safety issues. Assist with contingency information and plans for emergencies. Inventory control, storage, and security for housekeeping supplies and equipment. Daily trash removal and temporary storage as needed. Will be required to be on-call periodically to respond to building alarms and emergencies. All other duties as assigned.
Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:
High school diploma with some additional education and training in various technical fields. Maintain a valid driver's license. 2-4 years of experience in the general maintenance trade. Adhere to all company and facility EHS policies, procedures, and rules. Observe all safety rules in the office, on the job site, and in the field. This position involves inside and outside work under all types of weather conditions and possible hazards involving site EHS issues. The physical requirements of this position are extremely demanding on the human body, arms, legs, hands, and feet. This position requires a response to property, security, building, equipment, employee, and regulatory issues 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
