The Post
The Assistant Management Accountant role will be responsible primarily for supporting the Finance Manager and Finance Director with the preparation of monthly management accounts, the annual budget and financial statements for the Ethical Property Company. This will involve business partnering with centre managers and budget holders, meeting regularly and providing finance support to the business. Some UK travel using public transport is required.Tasks include:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for maintaining a high service level and low abandon rate by ensuring customer calls are answered in a timely manner. Answering the customer calls using excellent phone techniques. Provide tracking details to final destination upon customer request. Responsible for accurate order entry of all incoming orders via phone, fax, and email. Responsible for tracking and monitoring of all orders from entry to shipment. Confirmation of all orders received to the customer within 24 hours providing valid expected ship dates. Responsible for the review and monitoring of orders entered report to ensure accurate and timely delivery of customer orders. Review all backorders for daily communication with plants regarding shipping status of backorders. Responsible for daily interaction with sales reps, credit reps and pricing team to resolve all order blocks and pricing issues in a timely manner. Communicate with credit department on term's discrepancies. Responsible for the accurate and timely process of requests for credit/debit upon customer request and investigation. Ensuring that the procedures are followed for each process in a correct manner. Responsible for the daily interaction of assigned customers and sales reps. regarding orders, pricing, problems and product information. Additional duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work 9:30 am - 6:00 pm High School (or equivalent) Effective communications skills - verbal and written, SAP experience a plus. Grace under pressure - remain positive and focused to the task at hand. Effective problem-solving skills - quick on your feet and can think outside of the box. Ability to multi-task and prioritize work all with a sense of urgency. Requirements
5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. 50% of the role is on floor and 50% in office. Should be willing to work with hourly associates and staff directly. Should be willing to work on the floor, roll up their sleeves and be a part of the team. Engineering or Chemistry degree is preferred but not mandatory with good significant manufacturing experience, use of lean principles in daily work. Six Sigma Black Beltpreferred. Sealant, Adhesive, Coating or Paint industry experience preferred. Able to travel 50%. Technical Expertise: Strong root cause analysis skills. Experience with processes such as TapRooT, Kepner Tregoe or equivalent is preferable. Demonstrated use of analytical analysis: statistical process control, process capability analysis, correlation, ANOVA, DOE preferable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Preferable proficiency in ERP Systems (SAP, Business Objects, etc.) and Statistical Analysis Software (Minitab, etc.) Knowledge of and demonstrated use of Lean Manufacturing tools. Leadership Skills: Must be self-motivated. Ability to motivate others. Ability to endorse and practice teamwork. Project Management Skills Project management experience required. Must be organized and committed to meeting deadlines. Possesses the skill to lead multiple improvement projects at the same time. Communication Skills: Able to speak, listen, and write well. Effective presenter, facilitator, and trainer. Proficiency in creating effective reports.

Position Summary:
You will be responsible for the overall management of the assigned Service Center location including: inventory, warehousing, customer relations, and sales. You will lead a team of 4 or more employees.
Essential Functions:
Communicate with local sales force assigned to the Service Center regarding inventory, color, and service needs. Manage daily/ weekly cycle counting on physical inventories. Manage inventory reorder points (ROPs) and reorder quantities (ROQs) levels to yield established on time in full (OTIF) and inventory goals. Manage receipt of inbound and shipment of outbound goods. Assure on Time in Full delivery to customer's request. Perform Root Cause Analysis on OTIF misses. Approval and processing of returned goods and replenishment of orders in a timely manner. Prepare Bills of Lading per Department of Transportation (DOT) certification and guidelines. Assure compliance with all regulatory, safety procedures, housekeeping expectations as defined by management. Assist in daily warehousing duties as needed. Supervise, monitor and maintain training schedules for all personnel including: safety, DOT, forklift, IATA. Actively communicate with management to keep them advised on all pertinent matters. Preform additional duties as assigned. Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent, Minimum of Associates Degree in a Business-related discipline or minimum 7 years practical experience, 2+ years Supervisor or Management experience Forklift certification or have ability to pass forklift certification test.
Desired Qualification:
1+ year sales or retail experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include 20/20 vision, with or without correction, close vision, distance vision, color vision, full peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
