Main Tasks for the Electrical Technician:
- Perform upgrades and troubleshooting on equipment.
- Perform testing with various Ku, Ka and C-band equipment.
- Complete all Build & Test documentation accurately and update online records.
- 19 equipment rack assembly, cable wiring including coaxial, ethernet, power and data termination and testing.
- Update and communicate job progress with supervisors and associated parties.
- Attend Project kick-off meetings.
- Identify and compile Bills of Material (BOM).
- Configuration and testing of equipment returned from customer site ensuring equipment is ready to be deployed at short notice.
- Return Materials Authorisation(RMA) co-ordination within and out with the region.
- Assist Field Service with on-call duties.
- General workshop duties.
Qualifications & Professional skills for the Electrical Technician:
- Commercial field or military experience with satellite, RF, radar and microwave technologies.
- 2+ years experience in technical design and production in a Build & Test environment.

A university degree in a relevant discipline and considerable program and show production experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.1-2 years in a management or supervisory role. Ability to manage multiple projects and a time.Ability to foster effective and positive working relationships with internal and external contacts, able to work in a collaborative environment.Must have excellent organizational skills, and the ability to provide timely and high-quality service.
