The Client:
Our client is a privately owned mineral and aggregates contractor with extensive experience in the plant industry.
The Role:
As a Regional Maintenance Manager, you ill be responsible for minimising asset downtime and driving repair, servicing, and compliance standards.
Duties:
* Safeguard company assets, monitor major component health, and support overall asset lifecycle management.
* Supervise asset compliance and lead the regional Field Service Engineer (FSE) team.
* Exercise informed decision-making to optimise operational performance and asset condition.
* Direct maintenance activities across the region, encompassing breakdowns, servicing, preventive maintenance, and defect management.
* Ensure comprehensive compliance for all controlled assets, including brake testing, LOLERs, 6-weekly inspections, and MOTs.
* Report directly to the Head of Assets & Commercial to contribute to maintenance operations success.
* Collaborate with the Head of Field Service and Warranty/Technical Managers at Head Office.
* Facilitate communication with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers.
* Drive cost-control and performance-enhancement initiatives, actively monitoring wear component performance (e.g., Tyres, GET, UC) to minimise expenses.
* Act as the primary manager and contact point for regional Service Engineers.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a Regional Maintenance Managerin a similar role.
* Strong skills as a Regional Maintenance Manager with expertise in Heavy Plant equipment.
* Excellent man-management, communication, and decision-making abilities.
* Proactive approach to safety and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
* IT proficiency, including the use of Excel and asset databases.

Key Responsibilities for the Safety & Compliance Manager:
- Ensure compliance with MRP Part 145 & remain aware of any changes to regulations.
- Establish a programme of training & continuation training using internal and/or external sources.
- Interfacing with & maintaining relationships with regulatory authorities on quality assurance & regulatory approval issues that relate to airworthiness requirements.
- Ensure the organisation operates within the Air Safety Management System developed by the relevant Duty Holder and applicable single-service quality policy.
- Production and implementation of the Part 145 audit programme.
- Defining the human factors principles to be implemented within the organisation.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance Audits as prescribed by the Audit Plan are completed.
- Carry out unplanned Quality audits as and when requested by the Accountable Manager or Nominated Post Holders.
- Report any findings or concerns to the Accountable Manager or Nominated Post Holders.
- Ensure the adequate and appropriate closure of audit findings for root cause analysis, corrective and preventative actions within the timescales as identified.
- Management of the Part 145 certifying staff authorisation system.
- Compile submissions for MOE revisions as required. This is to include Form 2 submissions.
- Management of the Documentation Control system.
- Management and welfare of staff working in the MRP Part 145 environment.
- Ensure that the Part 145 Department complies with Customer Quality Requirements.
- Management and oversight of the SMS Programme within Military Operations.
Skills & Experience for the Safety & Compliance Manager:
- Detailed knowledge of MRP Part 145 and its practical application.
- Experienced and competent Investigator.
- Received formal aviation technical training.
- Current in Human Factors, Fuel Tank Safety and Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) training.
Previous auditor experience in an aviation environment. - Eligible to qualify for and hold UK airside security passes, as per DFT regulations.
- Full, clean UK Driving License.
- Previous experience within an aircraft maintenance environment.
- Understanding of the staff certification authorisation process.
- Proficient IT skills in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

Working within the Education Sector focusing on Further Education our client is looking for a Senior HR Advisor / Interim HR Manager who is available to join immediately to support on a short term interim contract for 3 months. As Senior HR Advisor, you will be covering a College in Morden and provide a comprehensive and high-quality HR service to managers and staff across the site.
You will provide guidance to managers that support the delivery of the service plans and assist with the achievement of operational targets and objectives.
The ideal candidate will come from Education but we are absolutely open to other industries as long as you have a strong background managing a variety of employee relations including; grievances, investigation meetings, absence management, capability and performance management, LADO referrals and OH referrals.
Duties will include:
Support managers in delivering high quality services through effective HR management and development, providing advice, guidance and support across the full range of HR services.
Assist managers with the resolution of staffing issues, providing appropriate advice and support.
Assist the Head of HR (Operations) with specific employee issues including handling grievances, disciplinaries, absence management and capability.
Provide advice and guidance to staff on matters relating to their employment with the Group.
Advise managers on the Sickness Absence Policy and attend sickness case review meetings as required.
Support the HRM’s to ensure the delivery of the onboarding process for new starters.
Monitor and assess active performance management cases for the relevant staff.
Contribute to the termly monitoring meetings with senior colleagues to review active performance management cases and sickness absence.
Provide management information to the Head of HR (Operations), senior managers and managers as required. This includes the maintenance of a case log that contains information about performance management processes and sickness absence.
Carry out exit interviews, and monitor and report trends through monthly management information.

Previous ER, EL & Absence Management experience is essential
