My client are a market leader within the Physical Security industry specialising in Gates, Barriers and Access Control, They have two very busy offices in the south with installation teams installing and maintaining electric gates throughout, Surrey, Sussex and the South East, the company has successfully completed thousands of projects.
The company’s portfolio contains an impressive list of blue chip organisations including construction companies, building contractors, local government, schools and hospitals as well as residential homes.
Role
Service and maintenance to company's equipment
Field based role
Work on own using laptop to plan day

Requirements
Electro-mechanical background
Automatic Gates and Access Control experience is essential
City & Guilds or HNC Qualified
Automatic Gates courses an advantage

Key Responsibilities:
• Examination, test, repair and recalibration on the full range companies products
• Examination, test, repair and recalibration on related equipment by manufactures
• Direct day-to-day liaison with customers to manage service contracts
• Provide support to Product Sales Team presentations to customers as required
Qualifications / Experience:
Full apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience in service and repair of Breathing Apparatus or Gas Detection Equipment
Excellent technical, diagnostic and repair skills
Knowledge of instrumentation and pneumatic products
PC skills with good knowledge of MS Office
Full, clean driving licence
You must have a history with Breathing Apparatus or Gas Detection Equipment industry to apply for this position

The Role:
Engineering Development Technician
As the Engineering Development Technician you will be involved in assisting the Digital Engineer with development related projects specific to the company’s internal systems.
