Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer looking for an opportunity to specialise within a rapidly growing industry? Due to a period of growth, this manufacturer are looking for the right engineer to oversee a variety of projects and equipment. All relevant training will be provided to up-skill and become a real specialist in a healthy industry while earning £50k+ with overtime and stayaway.
The right Field Service Engineer will have a sound mechanical and electrical understanding, ideally with heavy equipment. This opportunity grants an engineer the opportunity to do some international travel and take control of their earnings with regular overtime and technical progression.

Complete a programme of training within the maintenance team
Attend college on a full-time basis during the first year of the scheme, followed by day release in subsequent years to work towards industry recognised qualifications
Attend regular progress review meetings with assessors and workplace supervisors
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures and safe systems of work
Attend training on additional equipment throughout your programme e.g. FLT and Crane courses
Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by your departmental supervisor
You will receive training which will enable you to:
Carry out repairs on tooling, jigs and fixtures to agreed timescales
Look after machine modifications and refurbishments
Carry out scheduled, preventative maintenance according to a schedule

Land-based Service Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
Apprentices without level 2 (GCSE or equivalent) English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the End Point assessment
The qualification the apprentice will achieve at the end is an advanced level 3 apprenticeship. Within this apprenticeship, you will be given the opportunity to build a solid foundation of technical knowledge and gain real life experience. You’ll combine on-the-job training with practical lessons at college, where our specialist staff will teach you in our fully equipped workshops.
The apprenticeship will be at Reaseheath College and will last 3 years. This will be 9 weeks in college per year, delivered in 3 x 3 week block release courses, at Reaseheath College, Nantwich.Training Outcome:There are a number of progression routes within our engineering department, including team leader and supervisor roles. Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Quality Technician I is responsible for inspection of purchased and manufactured hardware, maintenance of equipment calibration system, generation of Quality metrics and management of discrepant materials dispositioned through the Material Review Board.

Essential Duties

Performs first article and other inspections of Legend Brands manufactured products, as well as components purchased from its suppliers. Performs receiving inspection (when required) of incoming hardware on a random basis using AQL sampling plans. Performs random inspection of finished goods for compliance to specification, reports findings to Quality and Manufacturing managers. Assists in performing manufacturing process audits and report findings to the Quality Assurance and Manufacturing managers. Helps conduct trend analysis and other studies as appropriate to assist Quality Engineering in evaluating potential corrective action of quality issues. Facilitates the Legend Brands equipment calibration system including identification and tracking of all calibrated equipment, maintenance of the calibration data base, and coordination with the company's calibration services provider. Works with other Quality personnel to produce periodic reports on first pass yield/cost of quality, inspection results, MRB dispositions and other quality metrics as appropriate. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED required. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Hiring Range:
Between $20/hr. - $23/hr.
