Service Care Legal are currently working with a bustling local authority, based in Oxford, which is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Property Lawyer to join their Major Projects team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling asset management work, lease renewals, and general landlord and tenant advice. They should also be comfortable reviewing title documents in order to provide advice on a variety of commercial and residential matters.
ROLE: Commercial Property Lawyer – major projects
LOCATION: Oxford – remote
CONTRACT LENGTH: 6 months
RATE: £55-£60ph
Key Responsibilities
Handling asset management work (licences to assign etc.), lease renewals and general landlord and tenant advice
Reviewing title documents in order to provide advice on a variety of commercial and residential matters

Key Requirements

Role Overview:
My client is seeking a diligent and experienced Commercial Property Paralegal to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Commercial Property Partner, assisting in managing a busy caseload of commercial property matters from inception to completion. This will primarily involve handling sales, purchases, landlord and tenant matters, lease extensions, and other related tasks.
You will be expected to liaise with clients, solicitors, and other third parties, and work to towards deadlines in a timely and efficient manner.

As a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, you will be responsible for supervising a sub-team of 4/5 staff lawyers. You will be dealing with a mix of residential property work (mainly shared ownership transactions being purchases, sales, staircasing, lease extensions) including straight transactions mix.
