Responsibilities for Estimator:
- You will be responsible for analysing customer requirements and specifications.
- Providing accurate cost estimates.
- Provide Production plans for all engineering projects.
- Always work to improve and have a continuous improvement focus on all you do.
- Be involved with any projects that can help improve the business, having input where appropriate.
- Providing a pro-active approach to your work, with a get-it-done attitude.
Key skills and experience for Estimator:
- You will have experience working within a lean manufacturing environment.
- Ideally you will ideally know your way around a machine shop and have a strong understanding of machining, perhaps having been hands-on yourself.
- A strong knowledge of processes and manufacturing methods.
- Pro-active approach, who can look outside the box.
