You will work within the Speciality Steels business, which produces high performance alloy and stainless steels designed to meet the detailed and demanding requirements of some of the world’s most challenging markets and industries. The engineering function is very diverse and apprentices within their first 3 years will gain opportunities to visit the different areas and experience the function of the team in each particular area.

Year 1
In your first year you will:
Complete modules towards Mechanical maintenance and the first year of your BTEC Level 3 in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering
Undertake specialist engineering training programme at our on-site training centre at Stocksbridge.
Year 2
During your second year you will:
Undertake on-site working alongside qualified Craftspeople and Technicians;
Complete a BTEC Level 3 in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering
Continue to complete your competence portfolio while gaining on job experience
Year 3
Your third year will see you:
Working on‐site with qualified Craftspeople and Technicians
Complete an end point assessment
Work towards achieving Apprenticeship Standard Certificate Level 3, which marks the end of the formal apprentice scheme.
Training Outcome:You can expect to start your career as a team member in a specific department. After that the next step would be to become a Craft Team Member, then onto a Team Leader. Duties and Responsibilities:
To ensure the day-to-day operation of Care Support’s office facilities.
To carry out all office administrative tasks, to include filing of reports and documents, photocopying and answering the telephone.
Supporting with Interviewing and vetting of applicants for employment with Care Support based on Care Support’s policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications
A Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)or equivalent qualification, emphasizing special education.
Experience or specialized training in working with children with Autism, SEMH, and Learning Disabilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and families.
