A growing Medical Devices group is currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to assist in the development of life-saving Medical Devices. Based in South Cambridgeshire, you will utilize SolidWorks for the CAD design of new Medical Devices.
You will collaborate with inventors, physicists, engineers, and scientists to create these life-saving medical devices, and your CAD design skills will be crucial in the development of these innovative Medical Devices.
Ideally, your past or current experience would involve developing medical devices to ISO 13485 standards. However, if your experience lies in CAD design for the life sciences, pharmaceuticals, scientific instrumentation, or wearable tech sectors, we would still like to hear from you.
This role will not be solely computer-based. We require you to have a hands-on engineering element to your mechanical engineering skills, particularly for tasks such as jig assembly, testing, instrument usage, and other essential skills for prototyping and testing the new technologies you will develop.
Knowledge of manufacturing techniques will be valuable, as you will use this knowledge when designing to ensure that the products not only function but can also be manufactured.

I&C engineer and supported by I&C technician team. Responsible for the design and review of all I&C equipment and instruments for the Plant. Explore solutions to production problems or improve efficiency with maintenance and operators. Run experiments and tests to aid in the development of improved manufacturing procedures and processes, and become familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures. Work and coordinate activities with the other engineering disciplines, Process, Project and Environmental. Electrical Schematic and panel layout design using CAD (preferably AutoCAD Electrical) experience. Experience in the design of programmable logic controllers (PLC) or distributed control system (DCS) based controls systems. Expertise in National Electrical Code requirements in industrial facilities and hazardous locations. Proven understanding of integrating instrumentation with data acquisition hardware. Proficiency with electrical diagnostic equipment. The Role:

As a Metocean Service Engineer, you will be involved in all aspects of marine surveys to include Metocean field engineering activities, contributing to high HSE standards, maintenance, testing and preparation of Metocean equipment, deployment and recovery of Metocean equipment and offshore client liaison. The role of a Metocean Service Engineer is varied and offers the opportunity to work on projects for offshore wind farms, renewable energy and oil & gas. This position will suit experienced Metocean Service Engineers looking for a more varied career. The projects range from one or two days to longer trips of up to four weeks with the potential to work all over the world.
