JOB DESCRIPTION GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The WTI Field Resource Foreman (Foreman) oversees and performs the safety, efficiency, and quality of the WTI field service business. Safety is our primary priority and will be embedded into every discussion, meeting, and project. As the clear and established leader of the WTI crew, the Foreman is focused on safety, crew management, and efficient execution of all WTI projects assigned within their respective region. It is the Foreman's responsibility to deliver timely service to all WTI customers and manage exposure to risks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct the daily onsite safety brief before the start of the WTI project with the Sales Rep, customer, and the WTI crew. Inspect and ensure all surroundings, equipment, and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns. Complete the Daily Hazard Analysis form and submit it to the Supervisors as applicable. Foreman also ensures that all technicians complete Daily Hazard Analysis. Ensure all project communication is completed before the start of any WTI project. This includes but is not limited to communication with: WTI Field Resources Supervisor (Supervisor) daily and before starting new projects (ensure any/all communication with the Sales Reps is also shared with the Supervisor. Sales Rep weekly and/or as needed and before new projects. WTI crew members will discuss the scope of work, daily tasks, and the overall schedule. Customer/Client (as needed or required by the Sales Rep) daily and/or weekly. Efficient management of projects will include managing the crew's start and end times, daily productivity (hours, man-days, etc.), and ensuring tools and materials are available to complete the assigned project safely and efficiently. Complete the project per the approved scope of work or specification and after issuance by the Supervisor. Using a designated company-mandated reporting tool, the Foreman will complete an end-of-day and/or end-of-project walk-through to ensure the quality of workmanship and address any punch list items before leaving the job site. These items will include updates on work performed, materials consumed (T&M projects), and supplies purchased. Ensure all WTI Field Resources Reps (Field Reps) have a professional appearance and customer interaction while completing services for a customer. Responsible for ordering, tracking, and monitoring inventory and ensuring quarterly cycle counts are completed and submitted timely. Provide pricing for self-performing projects over $12,500. Submit all proposals of over $20,000 to the Supervisor for review and approval before submitting them to the GS Administrator for logging and distribution to the Sales Rep. Monitor and manage the Field Reps. Consult with the Supervisor to take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee work-related issues and necessary documentation. Work with the Supervisor to elevate the issues to HR as required. Coordinate with the Supervisor to create project schedules. Review time reports daily and make necessary corrections with the admin team. Attending all appropriate calls, meetings, and trainings. Perform any other duties and/or projects as required or assigned by the Supervisor or Regional Business Manager. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to travel out of town, including overnight stays. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Ability to work weekends and/or holidays when needed. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test. Ability to read, write, and speak English. 30-hour OSHA certification Registered Roof Observer (RRO) preferred but not required. Minimum of five years of experience in the roofing industry. Must be thoroughly familiar with built-up, EPDM, PVC, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems, as well as metal and other steep-sloop roofing systems, and how to repair them properly. JOB DESCRIPTION GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Field Operations Manager (FOM) will report directly to the Regional Business Manager (RBM). In this role, the FOM will oversee $30 Million+ in annual self-performed revenue. The FOM will also review and approve proposals, expense reports, specifications (SOW), PTO requests, etc., for all WTI field operations personnel within the specified region. The FOM will be responsible for the safety, quality, and overall productivity and profitability of self-performing teams. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: All Field Supervisors, General Field Superintendents, and Project Managers will report directly to the FOM. Through leadership and actions, contribute to the development of a Safety-Oriented Culture that will result in 100% compliance with Toolbox Talk attendance, DTA reporting, and truck audits; and have work habits that will lead to ZERO safety-related incidents on ALL projects within the region. Provide training, supervision, direction, and support for all Supervisors, General Field Superintendents, and Project Managers within the regions in areas as follows: Estimating Pre-job planning Project Management to expedite projects safely, under budget, and with the highest attainable quality and customer satisfaction. Leadership and coaching of their respective Foremen/teams. Coordination and collaboration with Construction Managers and GC Superintendents on GC-related work. Sales communication and coordination. Workforce planning, recruiting and retention strategy to maintain optimum performance of the region. Approve proposals for PR, CONPR, and Safety Solutions related work up to $50K. Travel within the Region as needed to attend customer, sales, or business meetings. Communicate on a regular basis with RBM regarding: Safety compliance results Project approvals, progress, and results Personnel updates Forecast, analyze, and report on sales and establish financial performance metrics. Establish criteria for success and provide leadership for the regional team's goal achievement. Provide training and QA/QC inspections at all levels at all levels of work to ensure the highest standards or Tremco/WTI roofing/facade practices to include: Field Applications - existing and new materials, systems, application parameters, etc. Customer Service Reporting compliance EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 10+ years prior experience in a results-oriented leadership role for a regional, cross-functional team within the building construction industry. Experience taking on strategic initiatives where previous experience may not have been present and engaging to grow the initiative within the business. Prior experience leading a large staff in remote multi-state locations. Experience in an influential role where extraordinary results were achieved through accountability and leading others to achieve and maintain a high standard of performance. Prior experience clearly defining expectations, articulating ideas, thoughts, and views, and providing continual, timely, frank, and direct feedback to others. Proven experience with setting strategy and establishing plans for business growth. Prior experience working between multiple departments that support regional compliance and profitability.
