Position Summary:
Carboline is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer, located at our Green Bay, WI facility. This position will provide support for plant operations including managing Continuous Improvement Process and Production Process Control.
Minimum Requirements:
4 years Chemistry, Engineering degree or equivalent experience, minimum 3 years' experience. Formal training in Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies. Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operating and maintenance manuals and safety rules. Ability to use a computer for all company required processes, procedures, and trainings.
Essential Functions:
Experience in identification and implementation of process optimization solutions. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement methodologies and ability to teach and model them. Investigating shortfalls, issues, and complaints in current business processes. Ability to influence, mentor, and coach to get results through others. Collaborates with operations manager and/or plant engineering on modification of equipment and processes to reduce cost and improve efficiency and quality. Works together with R&D, engineering, and plant resources to develop and implement continuous improvement projects. Monitors and collaborates with R&D where necessary to modify production processes for existing products to improve consistency, quality, and reduce cost. Collaborates with R&D on process development - Including reviewing and approving proposed manufacturing procedures for new products. Monitors plant operating metrics to identify and implement corrective actions that positively impact cost, quality, and cycle time problem areas. Provides technical support and consultation to the Quality Control department. Specifically, regarding recovery plans for off-specification, obsolete, and problem finished goods. Monitors the consistency of production using SQC, SPC, or other appropriate techniques. Strong communicator with top-notch presentation skills who can develop and provide training to production personnel on matters concerning formulation, materials handling, processing, and quality procedures. Committed to the Company's safety and quality programs. Take an active role in hazard recognition and injury prevention by following all safety rules & regulations. Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner. Leadership role in effort to recertify and reclaim Non-Conforming material. Works in coordination with QC and R&D to isolate, test and recertify Non-Conforming material that can be repackaged and sold. Perform additional duties as assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Specification Development Stage:
Works with Construction Manager and Sales Representative to establish a scope of work for the project. Completion of specification request and related documents. Responsible for specification review as required by the Construction Manager.
Pre-Proposal Stage:
Conducts Pre-Proposal Meeting and distribute completed Pre-Proposal meeting documentation to all applicable parties. Assist Construction Manager in reviewing of proposals. Prepare Proposal Documents as directed by Construction Manager.
Pre-Construction Stage:
Publish Project Schedule. Assists Construction Manager in planning and coordinating the Pre-Construction Meeting. Engages with Project Superintendent to provide necessary project information. Conducts Pre-Construction Meeting and and distribute completed Pre-Construction Meeting documentation to all applicable parties. Obtain Building Permit when required.
Construction Stage:
Review Daily Inspection Forms and ensures they are distributed to all applicable parties and uploaded into project files. Visits job site as necessary or directed by Construction Manager. Conduct weekly Progress Meetings, virtual or onsite, and distribute meeting minutes to all applicable parties. Maintain Project Schedule and update on a weekly basis. Perform site audits as appropriate. Review subcontractor payment requests with Construction Manager. Assemble AIA billing applications for Construction Manager's review and approval. Assist Construction Manager, Project Superintendent, Subcontractor, Owner, or Sales Representative as needed.
Close Out Stage:
Assist Construction Manager in coordinating final inspection. Ensure all required documents are uploaded into the project files.

What You Will Be Doing
Act as a liaison to the Chief Executive Officer in all Acquisition related activities

Ensure that the relevant directors are made aware of SPAs timelines to be signed in order to be available at specific locations
Understand project specific transaction KPI’s and other project management processes to accomplish objectives set by the team
Provide status updates to Senior Management with respect to changes in scope or cost of the project
Analytically approach project management to provide accurate status reports to assist in any strategic decisions
What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role
Candidates will have at least 3-5 years of work experience in the real estate industry with a preference for candidates with real estate acquisitions experience and/or legal background in the real estate industry
Have an undergraduate Law Degree preferably, or alternatively an undergraduate degree in business, finance or economics

THE PERSON:

Experience in Professional Services
Previous experience in a broad marketing role covering content writing, social media, email marketing, website management etc
Design skills such ad Canva, InDesign, Photoshop or similar are desirable
Confident to create engaging multichannel content
Able to manage a varied workload
Keen to learn and develop
Highly organised individual who can coordinate projects and get involved in hands-on delivery
A highly confident individual who can effectively communicate at all levels

Provision of guidance and advice to customers on the purchase and installation of product.
To produce accurate Sales Tool CAD drawings using in house Sales Tool software from Sales sketches or drawings using a library of standard parts. (training given) to design and document improvements in product.
Processing of direct sales enquiries and the submission of quotations in response
Processing of sales orders ensuring technical accuracy received both directly from customers and those generated by Area Sales Managers and Key Account Mangers for supply and installation contracts
Liaison with customers throughout the contract / order process.
Liaison with Technical Team based at Modul-System Head office In Wooburn Green (HP10 0PE) via physical, phone and Teams meetings
Liaison with Purchasing Department regarding the availability of stock
Liaison with Operations Director regarding the scheduling of installation orders.
Assisting Sales team in the generation of new sales accounts by means of prospecting.
Ensure timely delivery of material stock relating to specific orders is on site, through liaison with the procurement function, and delivered to the production facility in line with the schedule.
The Ideal Candidate for the Project Account Manager role -
