Reporting into the Head of Business you will be responsible for managing the aftersales department which includes a team of Technicians, Workshop Control, Parts and front of house Service Advisor team across a split site workshop. Your key objective will be to drive the performance of the teams within the aftersales operation and encourage them to work, efficiently and cohesively, to optimise performance and consistently provide customer excellence.
As an Aftersales Manager your responsibility is to ensure our customers aftersales needs are met, this will including ensuring all works are booked in promptly and all work is carried out to the required standard. We are working with a multi- franchise brand dealership in the Gloucester area who are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department
The Vehicle Technician role comes with a basic salary of up to £32000 - £35500 OTE and fantastic opportunities for progression.

Key Vehicle Technician Roles and Responsibilities:
- Undertake maintenance, service, and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standard
- As the Vehicle Technician you will carry out all work completely and effectively whilst adhering to manufacturers scheduled times to maintain efficiency
- Effectively record details of diagnosis, work completed, and components utilised in line with group and manufacturer standards
Minimum Vehicle Technician Requirements:
- Qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)
- Have at least 2 years experience after a qualifying period, of working in a Dealership as a Technician (or similar)
- Good technical knowledge
- Must have a Driving License

The Role:
As a Motor Vehicle Technician, you will perform vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
? Conduct thorough vehicle health checks.
? Execute both minor and major mechanical repairs along with MOTs.
? Undertake major electrical and engine repair tasks.
? Perform road tests post-service.
? Document and articulate comprehensive vehicle assessments and repair outcomes.
Requirements:
? Previously worked for at least 2 years as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or in a similar role.
? Background in prestige, franchised dealers, or independent garages.
? Understanding of diagnosing and rectifying vehicle system faults.
? Skilled in using diagnostic equipment and completing paperwork accurately.
? Valid UK driving licence.
