As a shared service, this local authority cases across many different aspects of public children law for six separate client authorities.
ROLE: Childcare Advocate

CONTRACT LENGTH: 3 months ongoing
Key Responsibilities
Advocate at all levels of the Family Court, Court of Protection and Education Tribunals
Work closely with the childcare lawyer who has conduct of the case
Assist in case preparation and strategic planning to achieve the best outcome for the case
Cover hearings on behalf of the whole team
Requirements
Qualified solicitor or barrister with at least 3 years of experience in public children law
Extensive knowledge of the Family Court, Court of Protection and Education Tribunals
Excellent advocacy skills
