As a Warehouse Stock Operative, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target driven environment to ensure the stock entering or leaving the depot is accurate.
Our activities vary, so often, you may be required to work across multiple different workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits and Load Adherence checks most of which require periods of manual handling.
This is a full time permanent position based at our customers distribution centre.
Rate of pay: £23,907 per annum
Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus daily 30-min unpaid break
Shift Patterns: 5 days out of 7, 8-hour shifts between: 04:00-20:00

The main tasks:
Using warehouse systems and processes relating to packaging, moving and receiving stock (eg Load Container Lists) within a warehouse environment to facilitate the safe handling of goods and an effective and efficient service to internal/external customers

To ensure accuracy and efficiency in all tasks undertaken
To support the good running and control of the business, as part of the Operations team
To operate any equipment, powered equipment and machinery where appropriate; training provided to use the equipment

Communicating with customers (external and internal)
Training:
Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship Standard, which involves college one day a month over the full period of the apprenticeship
The final year will involve completion of a portfolio and preparation for End Point Assessment (EPA). This measures the skills, knowledge and behaviours outlined in the standard and is carried out by ESFA approved organisations who are independent of the college

The position
This full-time permanent position,you will be responsible for driving around the region based in and around Croydon to complete audits on deliveries.
Rate of pay: £27,289 per annum
Weekly hours: 40 hours plus 30 min unpaid break (8.5 hours per day) concessions made to 6 hours per day based on stores visits +50 miles.
Shift patterns Monday-Friday, within a window of 05:00-17:00
Working Environment: Ambient
Full Driving License and access to your own transport is essential.
A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Operative
As a Mobile Accuracy Checker, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target driven environment to ensure the stock entering our customer store is accurate.
Job activities
Audit the Inbound accuracy of multiple supplier deliveries at customer store level.
Audit Picker accuracy of stock arriving at stores and fully investigate all errors found.
Adhere to agreed audit and error verification procedures at all times.
Maintain integrity at all times.
Ensure the expected productivity levels are achieved, in line with customer expectations.
Review daily targets in line with customer expectations.

Your day-to -day job role will include:
● Assembling and building products.
● Carrying out product maintenance and repairs.
● Picking and packing orders to be dispatched.
● Checking customer returns and re-boxing.
● Assisting with customer product demonstrations and set-up.

6) General moving and lifting of products and boxes onto racking with the use of ladders and scissor lift.
