We’re looking for an experienced and proactive 2nd Line Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. You’ll provide technical support, maintain core infrastructure systems, and resolve escalated issues from 1st line support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver L2 support for data centre, network, and cloud infrastructure.
• Act as an escalation point for technical incidents and provide guidance to colleagues.
• Support and maintain technologies including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VMware, SAN, and security platforms.
• Liaise with customers, internal teams, and third-party suppliers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to service improvements.
Technical Requirements:
• Proven experience in infrastructure or network engineering within medium to large environments.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate).
• CCNA certification preferred.
• Experience with VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter).
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and routing (OSPF, BGP).
• Experience with VPNs, SD-WAN, and network monitoring tools.
• Desirable: Veeam, Fortinet NSE4, AWS or Azure experience.

An opportunity has arisen for an Senior DevOps Engineer / Infrastructure Lead to join a national organisation that provides free and confidential support to individuals affected by crime or traumatic incidents.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer / Infrastructure Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing infrastructure strategy, driving DevOps best practices, and ensuring robust cloud operations across Azure and AWS environments.
This is a permanent role offering a salary of £43,450 and benefits. You will be home or remote-based, with occasional travel to the office required.

You will be responsible for:

What We Are Looking For
* Previously worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, Infrastructure Lead, DevOps Lead, Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, SRE Engineer, DevOps Architect, Infrastructure Architect or in a similar role.
* Leadership experience of 2 years within Infrastructure and DevOps environments.
* Strong technical knowledge across AWS and Azure platforms.
* Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation) and version control (GitHub).
* Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).
* Familiarity with serverless technologies such as AWS or Azure.
* Advanced understanding of networking, cloud operations, and IT security.
* Experience in enterprise environments aligned with ITIL principles.
* Hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining network systems (MPLS WAN, SD-WAN, VPNs, VLANs, routers, switches).
* Sound knowledge of monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK).
* Relevant IT or technology qualifications.

A well-established and highly profitable construction engineering business is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This is a pivotal leadership role within a business undergoing rapid expansion of its technical capability, with ambitious growth targets and multiple acquisitions planned annually for the next five years (eight in the past twelve months).
Reporting directly to the Head of IT, you’ll take strategic ownership of the organisation’s core infrastructure and network operations. You will manage relationships with external service providers, lead internal infrastructure initiatives and ensure the stability, scalability and security of IT systems across multiple sites, whilst leading the infrastructure team.
Key Responsibilities
