Job Title - Vehicle Technician
We are working with the UKs largest Automotive service, maintenance and repair business in the Exeter area who are looking for a Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department.
The Vehicle Technician role comes with a basic salary of: £29,886 - £34,187 depending on experience with an OTE of £3600 - £5800 per year as individual bonus scheme. The position comes with great career opportunities, benefits and an uncapped bonus scheme. See benefits below:

Key Vehicle Technician Roles and Responsibilities:
- As a Vehicle Technician/ Mechanic, you will be already skilled in servicing and repair/replacement work. Youll have the ability to carry out more complex tasks such as clutches and timing belt replacements and diagnostics in areas such as vehicle electrics, brake steering and suspension systems.
- Supported by a workshop controller youll work amongst a team of skilled technicians and fitters, along with dedicated customer services advisors to make it a seamless customer experience.
Minimum Vehicle Technician Requirements:
- Qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)
- Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points
- Experienced Technician/Mechanic able to carry out diagnostic work (brakes, steering/suspension, engine) and more complex repair and replacements (coolant/diesel injectors, head gasket, brakes, electrical)

You will be trained on how to service, repair and maintain a range of their electrical vehicle fleet. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to gain experience working in the electric vehicle industry.
Suitable candidate locations must live within a commutable distance from Willesden.
Other titles may include Automotive Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Motor Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, Mobile Mechanic, Motorbike Mechanic or Motorcycle Technician.
The Role of Vehicle Technician:
- To carry out routine servicing or maintenance on fleet electric mopeds and electric motorcycles.
- Refurbish ex-fleet motorbikes, to MOT and company standards for delivery clients.
- Conduct diagnosis of any found or reported faults, carrying out repairs as required - full product training will be provided.
- Carry out road tests to confirm correct operation and stability following service/repair
- Operate stock control
- Ensure workspace and tools/equipment is maintained to an acceptable standard

- Attend training courses to update personal skills and knowledge
The Candidate - Motorcycle Technician:
- Must have previous vehicle mechanics experience such as servicing, repairs, MOT, diagnostics or similar.
- Holds a City and Guilds or equivalent qualification in motor vehicle maintenance, vehicle mechanics or motorcycle maintenance
- Have a genuine interest in motorcycle maintenance and repair
- Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence or Bike Licence
- Must be commutable to the workshop in NW10 postcode.
- Organised approach to work and effective time management
- Keen to learn and improve own performance

- Monday Friday day shifts 9am-5pm (40 hours per week)
