APCOA Parking have openings for people looking to provide outstanding customer service. You will be working on match days at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
We are looking for eager and hard-working people with a positive can-do attitude to join the onsite teams.
What you'll do:
- You will ensure the safety of vehicles and pedestrians on our client's site
- You will organise traffic movement
- You will maintain contact with the site office and vehicle drivers
- You will ensure that drivers and workers adhere to health and safety rules on-site
What you'll bring:

Technical Department Stores Team:
Manufacturing, building, packing, testing, flashing device process
Operations Department, Collections Team:
Payment collection and telephone manner skill development
Operations Department, Service and Bookings Team:
Logistical process and customer service skill development, some early technical expertise development and continued telephone manner development
Sales Department, After Sales Team:
B2B and B2C liaison, further developing phone skills, logistical skills and beginner sales technique skills
Operations Department, Thefts and Security Team:
Monitoring and commissioning devices, further developing telephone skills, customer service and technical skills to high beginner/low intermediate level
Technical Department, Technical Team:
Troubleshooting device problems at an intermediate level, handling lower-level complaints, further developing customer service, telephone and technical skills
Training:
Business Administrator Level 3
Within the first 15-months additional training is delivered at Loughborough College, one morning a week for 12 weeks, dates are subject to enrolment date
Online portfolio to update with learning and development completed onsite
Diarised visits from dedicated Trainer/Assessor

Development, attainment, and retention of Core competencies.
Participate in the practical work of the Transport Services Vehicle Workshop and develop / attain / retain Technical Competencies commensurate with position.
Successful, regular attendance of Apprenticeship supplier / college courses and other business / customer development training as directed. At all times portray / display the highest personal and professional standards, whilst acting as positive advocate and champion of ADSL.
Commensurate with Competencies - 1st line throughput (including inspection, maintenance, servicing, failure diagnosis, repair, and modification) in accordance with MIS work instructions and Business / DVSA / Authority literature and standards. Including “Off-Site” vehicle movement and “Out of Core hours” where required.
Training:
This role will be off job training 20% and 80% on the job working. The off the job training will take place off-site.
Training Outcome:
This role will progress into a Fitter role at Aspire Defence Service with opportunity to do further training to become a Fitter/Examiner.

I am currently seeking a Permanent Construction Logistic CoOrdinator for work with a UK Contractor on a Civils Project at Sizewell C in Suffolk.
This role would include but not be limited to the below
Leading by example, ensuring all H&S policies are followed
Coordinating all vehicle and material movement, including controlling unloading activities
Coordinate deliveries within overall project processes and priorities.
Produce reports using Microsoft applications.
Maintain and communicate all delivery schedules with a variety of contractor partners. This will include publishing daily schedules.
Deliver driver safety briefings, checking load safety and compliance
Ensure workload carryout has a minimal impact to the environment
The Ideal Candidate will have
Previous experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar
Relevant experience within civils / construction projects
