JOB DESCRIPTION
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assisting the Warehouse Manager with smooth operations in the main warehouse. Supporting our field personnel by staging supplies and equipment for upcoming projects. Provide professional customer service to all customers. Accountable for the movement and appearance of all materials and equipment in and out of the warehouse. Assisting the BRS manager with a high level of service and efficiency. Strengthen existing relations with current vendors/suppliers. Electronic (software/barcode) and physical receiving, tracking, and stocking materials and supplies. Fill supply requisitions. Pick up / Deliver Supplies when necessary. Ensure there is sufficient stock for BRS work crews. Prepare for weekly Remediation Projects, including materials, supplies, and equipment. Loading of all trucks and trailers. Equipment maintenance, repair, disinfecting, and calibrating. General maintenance of facilities, buildings, and plumbing. Oversee Vehicle -Fleet Service (PM) schedules and expedite vehicle service.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in warehouse work Mechanical abilities include small engine knowledge and repair. Must be able to deal with all levels of management. Lifting heavy items and working with chemicals. Overnight absences are not required but can be broached during an emergency call. Computer literate. This position requires extreme flexibility with the ability to handle several tasks at once. Position requires the ability to set priorities and to follow up on tasks delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. Detail Oriented skills and good organizational skills. This position will require the ability to assume additional responsibilities as the firm continues to grow or as needed by the immediate supervisor. General Mechanical abilities for equipment repair and troubleshooting. Local travel is required, with the possibility of out-of-town travel on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all yard operations, ensuring safe, efficient and customer-focused performance from gate entry to gate exit.
Champion a strong health, safety and environmental culture, ensuring compliance with relevant transport, dispatch and regulatory requirements.
Manage inventory accuracy, stock control and stock rotation to ensure finished goods are accurately recorded, stored and available to support uninterrupted production.
Oversee the movement of finished goods from production through to storage, vehicle loading and dispatch, optimising loading cycles and vehicle turnaround times.
Lead, coach and develop the yard team, conducting appraisals, identifying training needs and building a high-performing workforce.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping, site organisation and operational discipline, including managing site access for employees, contractors and visitors.
Review and improve yard processes to increase operational efficiency, productivity and service levels, implementing continuous improvement initiatives where appropriate.
Monitor and control yard-related costs, identify opportunities for savings and support capital improvement projects.
Work collaboratively with production, logistics and other departments to align yard operations with wider business objectives and maintain excellent customer service.
About You
Proven experience within a Yard Manager, Logistics Manager, Warehouse Manager, Transport Manager, Operations Manager, Distribution Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Depot Manager, Plant Manager or similar operational leadership role.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
Excellent understanding of health & safety, compliance and operational best practice.
Experience managing inventory, stock control and dispatch operations.
Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
A continuous improvement mindset with a track record of reviewing processes and driving positive change.
