Technical Sales Representative required for a specialist manufacturing company based in Bolton.
The company has designed, developed and manufactured bespoke solutions using aluminium extrusion for over 20 years and have been supplying customers across the nuclear, oil & gas, aerospace, automotive, pharmaceutical, research and other manufacturing-led industries.
In this newly created tole of Technical Sales Representative you will report to the Operations Manager, the ideal candidate will have a technical/engineering design background and have the ability to understand both products and customer requirements.
It is essential that the candidate is prepared to travel in the UK and also overseas on occasion.
This is a hands-on role so flexibility and willingness to assist on customer sites from time to time will be required. As the Technical Sales Representative you will maintain a regular calling or contact schedule with companies to identify more leads or resolve any problems that arise in existing client accounts.
Key experience and responsibilities as the Technical Sales Representative;
Proven technical sales experience demonstrating a track record of increasing sales and revenue with major accounts and through field-based sales.
Conducting sales talks and contract negotiations.
Delivering sales presentations and collecting information about client/project opportunities.
Essential Requirements
Have a minimum of experience working either in a technical sales or business development role.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Good problem solving skills.
