Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a motivated and enthusiastic Social Work Assistant to work in statutory area fieldwork and children with disability teams. The successful candidate will work alongside Social Workers to provide advice and practical support to children and young people who are deemed “in need” under the Children Act 1989 or identified as in need of support.
The Social Work Assistant will facilitate support groups, be part of the duty rota, and will be involved in assessing and working directly with families needing support, offering parenting advice and guidance, and signposting families to other services where appropriate. They will promote the educational, training, employment opportunities, and social skills of young people and enable them to build these skills.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a social care setting or similar environment with vulnerable children and families and will have experience of completing chronologies, life story books, and contact plans. They will have experience of establishing links within local communities to ensure that effective responses to children and young people’s needs are maximised.
The Social Work Assistant will have experience of working with children, young people, and families at times of change in their lives and responding appropriately, so they will need a high level of communication skills both verbally and written, as well as an ability to identify risks. They will be skilled at resolving conflicts that can occur in multi-agency working and have experience of seeking the best outcomes for children and young people and their families.
Requirements
GCSE Maths and English Grade A-C or equivalent qualifications
A good working knowledge of relevant legislation
The use of a car would be preferable but not essential as the work can be throughout the country, and the post-holder will need to offer support to families when they are often under a considerable amount of stress.

The Role
We are seeking Senior Hydrographic Surveyors who will be responsible for remotely collecting hydrographic data and providing survey support to the USVs on a range of subsea inspection, geophysical and hydrographic projects.
You will work in a range of markets and provide survey support to a range of projects (including geophysical site surveys, ROV, offshore renewables, pipeline and platform inspection and nautical charting).
The role will involve time predominantly at our Remote Operations Centre in Aberdeen, but opportunity will also be given to those who want to travel and support project mobilisations, equipment installation, equipment calibrations and equipment maintenance.
You will operate all required survey & positioning equipment, ensuring geodetic parameters, offsets, rotations and other settings are managed correctly as well as monitoring and ensuring vessel situational awareness systems are maintained and available.
As a senior you may also be required to act as a shift leader making operational decisions, mentoring junior surveyors, and liaising with data processors and clients to ensure the successful execution of the project.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Technical Application Specialist ensures proper application of Commercial Sealant & Waterproofing products in accordance with company and industry guidelines by providing both on-site and office-based problem resolution assistance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide or obtain accurate and timely product application, qualification, and/or troubleshooting services to internal colleagues and external business partners Assist with general on-site product application, training, and general substrate review. This person would be responsible for implementing and managing the environmental, health, safety, security, and emergency response programs for the local production and distribution facility. This position will spend a lot of time on the production floor interacting with employees and supervisors identifying improvements in best practices and improving safety within processes. PSM experience, hazardous waste management and someone that has worked within a Chemical processing facility is preferred!
Requirements:
• Minimum of a BS degree in a safety, regulatory, or chemical related discipline or equivalent experience. (Industrial Safety preferred.) • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in safety, regulatory, and/or chemical fields. • Strong working knowledge of the OSHA process safety management regulations (PSM). • Proven experience as safety manager. • Ability to produce reports and develop relevant policies. • Experience in data analysis and risk assessment. • Excellent organizational and motivational skills. • Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Physical Requirements:

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Customer Service Representative provides customer service to external customers (distributors, contractors, design teams, and building owners) and internal customers (sales representatives) as it relates to processing product orders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Respond to customer calls, emails, and faxed requests. Handle large volumes of calls, emails, and faxes. Respond to all aspects of customers' and representatives' inquiries or requests (orders, product information, stock status, pricing, shipping information, samples, etc.) Accurately key orders into the system.
