Training:Outdoor Activity Instructor Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
You will be starting your role as an Assistant Instructor - and after a comprehensive training programme and development period you will gain the knowledge, experience and qualifications required to become an independent instructor leading your own groups.
You will learn how to operate to a highly professional and safe standard, to create a challenging, fun and educational environment providing equal opportunities to all.
You will be required to assist in the facilitation of a range of activities including high ropes, climbing, orienteering, archery, shelter building / fire lighting and much, much more. The focus at Active Learning Centres is on utilising our wonderful natural environments in providing high quality outdoor learning that creates opportunities for visiting young people to develop their essential skills, builds character and promotes wellbeing. This post will also allow the apprentice to work across numerous areas of the wider ALG business group that may include working with our sister companies such as Bushcraft, Camp Wilderness and Super Camps.
In order to gain a thorough and all-round knowledge of activity centre-based work you will also be provided with opportunities to work in our other centres delivering mountaineering and water-based activities, where you will have the chance to expand your personal skill set, leading to further NGB’s and greater employment opportunities.

Everyone Active are looking for enthusiastic and energetic candidates to work towards their Leisure Team Member Level 2 apprenticeship over the course of 15 months. At The Ahoy Centre you will work towards your Community Activator Coach Apprenticeship over the course of 12-18 Months.
You will be responsible for delivering Sailing, Rowing and Powerboat Training sessions to our beneficiaries on the Tidal River Thames.
You will receive the opportunity to gain a number of RYA (Royal Yachting Association) and BR (British Rowing) qualifications such as the Dingy Instructors, Powerboat Level 2, Safety Boat, First Aid and many more. You will be expected to be a positive role model for those who come through the centre.
To complete your apprenticeship qualification, you will work with a Lifetime Training Coach who will support you through your course work. Around 20% of your time on the apprenticeship will be dedicated to this.

Take the lead in supporting course trials—making sure instructors have what they need, usage is tracked, and feedback is collected to help convert trials into full adoptions.
Act as the go-to person for Learning Management System (LMS) integrations—liaising with university contacts and coordinating with our US implementation team to ensure smooth setup.
Monitor course activation and engagement using reporting tools (like PowerBI) and flag courses that are doing well or may need extra support. Suggest ways to improve engagement with features such as iClicker.
