What will you do?
A penchant for business development, working out of your own office, you'll meet & engage new and repeat customers in your territory; assessing their needs, you will provide a truly consultative Stonhard solution. Customer sales calls include a mix of existing/repeat business along with prospecting for new customers and projects. Closely work with your manager to meet & exceed sales goals. Participate in overseeing the successful delivery of product installation, ensuring optimum customer satisfaction. Project management responsibilities include ensuring raw materials are on site, construction crews have everything they need and troubleshooting any installation issues that may come up. Full turn-key operation ensures a smooth install and helps secure next project in another area or building. Will participate in an enriching training process spanning over two years, traveling to our headquarters for pre-planned, scheduled training(s).
Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000
Uncapped Commission potential (First 2 years): approx. $15,000 - $50,000

An award-winning Employment law firm ‘with a difference’ is looking for a Remote Employment Solicitor with at least 3 yrs pqe, to handle a caseload of employment tribunal matters. In addition to managing a caseload of tribunals, if you are looking for more diversity, you will have every opportunity to get involved in their extensive programme of client training. Whilst this is a remote role, you will very much be part of a team and get to work closely with the other lawyers, some of whom undertake the day to day advisory work for the clients that you will be working for. Within this role there is extreme flexibility. The Continuous Improvement Leader will lead continuous improvement efforts at the manufacturing plant level. They will work with plant management and personnel to maintain and improve the MS168 Continuous Improvement program. They will also work with the manufacturing plants and various corporate functions to determine where the most significant areas of improvement exist. Complete Six Sigma projects and provide support for plant level Six Sigma Projects. In addition, they will organize and execute focused Improvement Teams (like Kaizen Events).
Responsibilities
Implement, develop, and sustain MS168 Continuous Improvement Program. (Including Conducting Semi-Annual Audits) Complete Six Sigma projects and provide support for plant level Six Sigma projects. Work with the manufacturing plants and various corporate functions to determine where the most significant areas of improvement exist and develop projects from those opportunities. Organize and execute and track progress of Focused Improvement Teams Provide a Supportive Project Management Office including MPST & Monthly Savings tracking and reporting. Provide Training of Lean Manufacturing Principals and Six Sigma Tools to Plant and Corporate Associates Track Company Key Performance Indicators and develop action plans for identified areas of opportunity.
Requirements
5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. 50% of the role is on floor and 50% in office. Should be willing to work with hourly associates and staff directly. Should be willing to work on the floor, roll up their sleeves and be a part of the team. Engineering or Chemistry degree is preferred but not mandatory with good significant manufacturing experience, use of lean principles in daily work. Six Sigma Black Beltpreferred. Sealant, Adhesive, Coating or Paint industry experience preferred. Able to travel 50%. Technical Expertise: Strong root cause analysis skills. Experience with processes such as TapRooT, Kepner Tregoe or equivalent is preferable. Demonstrated use of analytical analysis: statistical process control, process capability analysis, correlation, ANOVA, DOE preferable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Preferable proficiency in ERP Systems (SAP, Business Objects, etc.) and Statistical Analysis Software (Minitab, etc.) Knowledge of and demonstrated use of Lean Manufacturing tools. Leadership Skills: Must be self-motivated. Ability to motivate others. Ability to endorse and practice teamwork. Project Management Skills Project management experience required. Must be organized and committed to meeting deadlines. Possesses the skill to lead multiple improvement projects at the same time. Communication Skills: Able to speak, listen, and write well. Effective presenter, facilitator, and trainer. Proficiency in creating effective reports.

Quality Assurance Technician
Based: Stoke-on-Trent
We are an international leader in the manufacture and distribution of small domestic products and appliances. Due to ambitious expansion and development plans, we are actively looking to appoint a Quality Assurance Technician to join our in-house QA Team.
Based at their site in Stoke-on-Trent, as a member of the Quality Assurance Team, you will be testing products, assessing function, performance and build quality within a Laboratory environment to ensure that the products are fit for market and meet the required standard for the brand.
This will involve; samples for assessment to include first samples, pre-shipment samples and stock samples tested and assessed following departmental procedures.
You will also be assessing returned products and establishing the reason for failure and will become familiar with UK & EU standards and legislation.
As a result, you will contribute towards the development of successful products by aiding the designers and engineers in the development stage through test reports, design input and root cause analysis of issues identified.
Ideally applicants will have previous experience of working in a test facility (either in-house or an external test house) or have hands-on experience of completing the QA testing procedure.
Ideally, candidates should have:
Hands on mechanical and/or electrical skills
Excellent attention to detail.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Organised and structured with a drive for a clean, orderly, tidy and safe working environment.
Computer literate with good abilities with MS Excel & Word.
Enthusiastic with a ‘can do’ outlook.
An ability to get things done. Completes and finishes work with no loose ends.

The Distribution Clerk is responsiblefor ensuring that all shipping and receiving documents are completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure orders and shipping quantities match picking documents through careful audit of said documents. Work with Plant Operations, Customer Service and Purchasing to resolve allocation discrepancies. Help with or complete special projects at the discretion of the Distribution Services Manager. Ensure good security processes are followed with regard to the CTPAT (driver and visitor sign in). Answer/route all telephone calls in a polite manner, taking messages and routing to proper individual in a timely manner. Assists & evaluates needs with shipping points, services, weights & freight permits, and other information needed. Initiates, answers & documents tracer inquiries when requested via email and/or fax. Maintains shipping stations are in working order and stock with materials. Notifies consignee of shipment arrival and coordinates shipment information to other offices and/or agents. Arranges for movement of freight to consignee/agent & updates the system with information. Route Shuttle Drivers to maximize the efficiency of moving the Production stock to the DC. Processes necessary invoices to appropriate office for payment. Enter data pertaining to domestic and international shipments into the company's ERP system and into the shipping systems of commercial freight carriers. Monitor the supply of packaging materials and requisition additional supplies as required. Confirm physical shipment of goods and facilitate tracking of packages. Identify errors on packing lists & invoices and correct them. In conjunction with senior supervisor will be responsible for all outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations. Using ERP System, prepare accurate bills of lading for outbound freight. Ensure that drivers depart with appropriate paperwork. Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents by strict adherence to standard operating procedures. Gather, enter into warehouse management system and maintain all data and records relative to shipping and receiving activities. Complete necessary management reports as required. Responsible reporting Cycle Counts to Distribution Services Manager as required by identified Cycle Count Program. Act as back up to other functions as necessary. Reporting to the site Operations Manager and responsible for a small team the aim of this role is to manage and coordinate the on-going technical integrity of all processes and products produced, ensuring compliance to the Company's Quality Management System for both own manufactured products and those sourced from third parties. You will be responsible for ensuring all recognised food safety standards are always met. The successful candidate will need to be confident in assessing and managing technical risks, ensuring the NPD process is managed efficiently, and all customer requirements are met. In addition, managing and developing the Environmental Policy and processes will be a requirement. This role is hands on and varied - it will range from cooking trials, goods in checks and internal audits to talking to international customers and regulators. It is essential that you have experience within the FMCG, food or drink sector. Key Responsibilities of the Quality Manager will include: ·Develop and maintain the on-site quality management system to ensure continued BRC/GFSI accreditation ·Liaise with the various food standard bodies e.g. BRC, Halal, Soil Association, FSA, EHO and international authoritative bodies ·Lead, motivate and develop the quality team ·Act as HACCP team leader, maintaining the site HACCP system for both products manufactured on site and those supplied by third parties ·Manage the Company supplier approval and monitoring system, undertaking supplier reviews, visits, and audits, thereby maintaining the Supplier Assurance Programme ·Provide technical input and communicate the investigation and resolution of product non-conformities ·Manage and monitor customer complaints and investigations to comply with quality performance targets ·Manage the Specifications team to ensure that the development of new product launches is done in a timely and legal manner ·Assist with NPD and Process Development on new and existing products. ·Manage the Goods-In Lab Analysis process ·Manage and develop the site environmental policies. ·Develop the ERP system to leverage further efficiencies.
