The Mechanical Fitter position is working with an international manufacturer the role offers the ability to work within a modern, well organised and safe working environment, in which low staff turnover exists and employees feel valued, through the training available and overall excellent working conditions that are available.
Working days Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for the mechanical fitting of ancillary equipment onto HGV vehicles, the work is both varied and interesting, to include:
Working with vehicle chassis fitting component parts
Installing hydraulic / pneumatic systems, Power take offs, gear boxes and pump systems
Being able to weld would be an advantage, but not essential
Working upon both standard and bespoke projects to include the development of new systems and ways of working, as part of a team
