JOB DESCRIPTION
Carboline is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to work in Saint Louis, MO, Head Quarters location This intern will get the opportunity to work hands-on with the Corporate Transportation team to gain experience and knowledge in booking and scheduling loads, interacting with freight carriers, and being part of day-to-day meetings to understand how a transportation/supply chain department operates.
Requirements:
This is a paid internship where we are seeking someone who can work 30 - 40 hours per week from May through August. Majoring Business Administration, Operations, logistics, or Supply Chain Managment.
Essential Functions:
Can update and communicate daily shipping schedules with operations leadership, including orders that could be at risk Coordinate special, last-minute shipping requests and schedule pick-up orders with the distribution leadership team Generate, maintain, and organize all related paperwork, work instructions, and necessary information required for customer orders in order to sustain appropriate files and process details for each account Monitor shipments for customer response to routing requests and develop and utilize reporting tools to monitor customer orders and shipments Perform additional duties as assigned Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The primary result expected from the Buyer will be to Oversee the procurement cycle, from selecting and setting up supplier accounts to ensuring timely delivery of materials and supplies. It entails managing purchase orders, reconciling transactions and maintaining accurate inventory and vendor information to support the company's operational needs.
Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following:
Oversees the procurement process for all production-related materials and supplies. Conducts research to identify new suppliers and outsourcing opportunities to meet facility requirements. Qualifies potential suppliers and sets up vendor accounts, ensuring a robust supply chain. Negotiate prices, discount terms and transportation arrangements for merchandise. Examine, select, order, and purchase at the most favorable price merchandise consistent with quality, quantity, specification requirements and other factors. Generates purchase orders utilizing existing procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Reconciles delivery documentation with received goods, maintaining stringent record-keeping. Rectifies any issues related to shipments or billing with suppliers, maintaining positive relationships. Conducts administrative tasks, including drafting correspondence and compiling reports. Keeps the Supply Chain Manager and Plant Director informed of market trends affecting process, consumption, and other related purchasing factors. Validates receipt of proper credit for all vendor material returns and addresses discrepancies. Monitors ongoing orders and takes action to expedite as needed to guarantee on-time delivery. Desired Skills & Experience

Retail Minibus Driver
Salary: £28,828 per annum plus bonus
Location: Slough
Work Pattern: 48 hours per week (Any 5 out of 7)
Retail & Asset Solutions are currently looking for Retail Minibus Driver’s in your area. A company minibus is provided, and you must hold a full Driving Licence.
The Company
We are a leading provider of Retail stocktaking, merchandising and supply chain management services.

The Role
We are looking for Retail Team Drivers to add to our already successful team.
This role will require you to oversee the transportation of a small team of stock counters to and from each shift within your region
Work will be carried out on different Retail customer sites / stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis.
You must follow the correct processes when notifying your count team of the pick-up points and timings for each shift
Escalating any issues with the vehicle in a timely and efficient manner
Completing a team attendance sheet, detailing the stock counters expected on the bus, who attended and the arrival time of the bus on site.
Whilst on site you will be responsible for ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.
Being able to stand for prolonged periods of time is needed for the role and access equipment may have to be used on occasion to reach high stock
Key Skills/ Experience Required
This role will involve working unsociable hours, working early mornings or night shifts, this therefore means we are unable to hire anyone under the age of 21 years.
This role requires you to have a Full Driving License.
You must have a ‘can do’ attitude and be able to work long shifts where required on large counts.
With our innovative business, the technology changes and therefore being a quick learner is a key skill required.
Any experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity.
