Training:
The training will take place with a blend of online and on site meetings with the assessor every 4 - 6 weeks.
Training Outcome:
We are bringing this apprentice on, with the aim to employ them full time after their apprenticeship, subject to performance and business needs at the end of their apprenticeship

The Commercial Quantity Surveying teams within Wates are largely responsible for the contractual and financial management of a project. A combination of law, business and finance skills are used to manage relationships with key stakeholders including clients, designers, sub-contractors and suppliers. Our commercial teams play a vital role in the construction of our projects.
Duties will include:
Build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including our customers and supply chain
Manage, produce and analyse commercial reports, and documentation, relating to the financial status of projects
Safeguard the financial and contractual position of the company, understanding the progress of works and legal obligations
Develop your understanding in forecasting, risk assessment and cash flow
Training:
Construction Quantity Surveying Technician Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard delivered through Accxel Ltd on a block release face to face
Training Outcome:
You would be looking to move into a management role on a successful completion of this program

The Role:
At Howdens, we operate an ‘in stock’ business through all our depots. Our Warehouse Person is responsible for effective stock maintenance, compliance with strict health and safety regulations and high standards of customer service
Deal with customers in a courteous, professional and knowledgeable way
Maintain general housekeeping duties within the warehouse, including stock rotation, cleanliness, tidiness and compliance with health & safety guidelines
Carry out security and compliance checks on all incoming stock and outgoing orders while adhering to stock management guidelines to ensure accuracy
Carry out daily checks on the forklift truck and other mechanical equipment and report all defects to the Depot Manager
Training:
Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard qualification
End Point Assessment
Functional Skills maths and English (if necessary)
Blended on/off-the-job training and location to be confirmed
