Retail & Asset Solutions are currently seeking motivated, professional and flexible individuals to complete stock counts for well-known retailers, on a casual contract-basis across the UK. As an Independent Stock Counter, you will be required to drive independently to each shift.

Gain a detailed understanding of Engineering drawings and manufacturing processes to develop the skills and understanding to interpretate and analyse long term and short term production plans
Develop an understanding of project plans and how they inform and influence production plans
Learn and develop knowledge of company planning tool – Epicflow
Preparing, maintaining and updating production schedules to ensure timely delivery of manufactured goods.
Plan and prioritise operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay

Capacity planning – understand the Sales funnel and capacities in all relevant departments, creating capacity constraints matrices and action plans to address with relevant stakeholders
RCCP (Rough Cut Capacity Planning) – understand the long-term objectives of the business, so Capex and relevant larger scale plans can be put in place to hit key milestones
Coach and assist the Production Managers/Supervisors to develop detailed manning & resource plans to satisfy business requirements
Become a practitioner and develop & maintain D365, especially with how it’s used for Stock and interfaces with Planning (in future)
Training:Supply chain practitioner (fast moving consumer good) (previously Operator Manager), level 3 qualification:
You will attend college 1 week every quarter over the full period of the apprenticeship
Functional skills if required
The final year will involve completion of a portfolio and preparation for End Point Assessment (EPA). This measures the skills, knowledge and behaviours outlined in the standard and is carried out by ESFA approved organisations independent from the college
Apprentices without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this prior to taking the End Point Assessment

The Role
We are looking for Retail Team Drivers to add to our already successful team.
This role will require you to oversee the transportation of a small team of stock counters to and from each shift within your region
Work will be carried out on different Retail customer sites / stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis.
You must follow the correct processes when notifying your count team of the pick-up points and timings for each shift
Escalating any issues with the vehicle in a timely and efficient manner
Completing a team attendance sheet, detailing the stock counters expected on the bus, who attended and the arrival time of the bus on site.
Whilst on site you will be responsible for ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.
Being able to stand for prolonged periods of time is needed for the role and access equipment may have to be used on occasion to reach high stock
Key Skills/ Experience Required
This role will involve working unsociable hours, working early mornings or night shifts, this therefore means we are unable to hire anyone under the age of 21 years.
This role requires you to have a Full Driving License.
You must have a ‘can do’ attitude and be able to work long shifts where required on large counts.
With our innovative business, the technology changes and therefore being a quick learner is a key skill required.
Any experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity.

As a Warehouse Operative Apprentice, you will assist in the smooth running of warehouse operations, learning key skills and gaining valuable hands-on experience while working towards your Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative qualification. You will play role in ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods as well as manufacturing cylinders and cutting keys to complex master key suites. Additionally, you will have responsibility to serving customers on at our trade counter and providing technical advice on goods supplied.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving Goods: Unloading deliveries, checking items for accuracy, and storing them in designated locations.
Picking & Packing: Accurately picking stock and preparing it for dispatch including separating goods into door sets and ensuring combination of items will function once installed and comply with the regulatory framework.
Safety & Maintenance: Ensuring the warehouse is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Customer Orders: Supporting the preparation and dispatch of customer orders to ensure timely delivery.
Key Cutting and Cylinder Manufacturing: Pinning of cylinders to master key charts and schedules and producing keys to work within that environment.
Trade Counter: Provide technical advice to trade counter customers to ensure their compliance with security and fire regulations.
Use of Equipment: Learning to safely operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet trucks).
Team Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues to meet deadlines and resolve issues.
