CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Construction Manager is responsible for managing all projects (including GC and larger-scale P&R, TremCares, etc.). MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Ensuring the integrity of the supplied submarine fibre-optic cable products is maintained throughout the installation operation

We are seeking a motivated Inspection Engineer to join our Marine Asset Integrity (MAI) Service Line. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual looking to advance their career within the evolving Geo-data industry.
In this role, you will support both onshore and offshore project preparation activities, including the setup of online data recording systems, offline data editing, and quality control for structural and pipeline inspections.
While offshore, you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of Inspectors, Surveyors, Engineers, Data Processors, and ROV personnel to ensure the effective operation of inspection and survey equipment, and the accurate, efficient collection of data. You will maintain regular communication with the onboard team and, when necessary, with clients.
You will also work in partnership with the MAI Client Deliverables Team based in Aberdeen, who will provide continuous support throughout the project lifecycle.

Your role and responsibilities:
Ensure the safe, efficient and profitable execution of all ROV platform and vessel-based pipeline and structural inspections.
QC of Inspection data recording, quality control of real-time video data and ensuring that, where required, all data sheets are completed accurately.
Ensure anomalies identified during online and offline inspections are accurately recorded and reported to the Inspection Coordinator, Superintendent/OVM and Client in a timely manner determined by the magnitude of the finding and anomaly criteria.
Assist in project reporting and delivery in accordance with Fugro and client specifications and document control parameters; document any variations to the workscope or procedures and inform the Client Deliverables department.
Promote teamwork at the worksite among all associated parties and ensure good communication lines, especially during shift handovers.
Ensure awareness, understanding and control of all computer operating systems relating to the content of the project or contract.
Ensure inspection equipment calibration procedures are followed and/or undertaken by third parties. Where necessary, compile and check data from these other sources such as Cathodic
What you’ll need to thrive in this role:
Formal qualifications to a minimum of HND level in Engineering or IT.
CSWIP 3.4u or 3.3u.
Offshore experience working with ROVs as an Inspection Engineer and/or Coordinator in UKCS.
MS Office experience.
Good IT skills.
Ability to understand technical engineering drawings.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The General Contracting (GC) Manager oversees and manages all aspects of the General Contracting business (including GC and larger-scale P&R, TremCares, etc.) within the assigned region. This will involve working with Construction Managers, CM Associates, Project Managers, Service Managers, Supervisors, Foremen, GC Superintendents, Tremco Sales Representatives, Owners, and Subcontractors to ensure projects are performed safely, meet customers' expectations, conform to contractual obligations, and meet financial objectives. Additional duties will include participating in proposals, specifications, price estimates, schedules, and sales efforts as they affect the region, also responsible for Sales & Service Support, Field Resource & Customer Management communication as necessary. The GC Manager will create and execute training plans for new CM, CM Associate, and Project Manager positions for new employees. With the RBM, the GC Manager is responsible for the overall profitability and performance of all GC projects in the region(s). Abide by all Company policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct WTI personnel and work cross-functionally with other Tremco and WTI external and internal departments to maximize efforts and results in sales, compliance, safety, and profitability. Act as a liaison between headquarters and the field to ensure that effective two-way communication takes place, and that positive results are achieved. Assess daily operational situations for crisis management, safety, and escalation protocol. Determine solutions to project issues, including but not limited to, field resource management, workload balance, job site conditions, product management issues, etc. Travel to job sites as needed to support account resources (including rooftop projects). Travel to customer or sales meetings to support business or account activities. Accountable for regional cost/budget variance & profitability as it relates to General Contracting. Accountable for regional Quality Assurance. Understanding of the subcontractor agreement and corrective notification measures to the subcontractor according to the executed agreement. Ensure Construction Managers are setting project timelines and goals. Identify resource or employee concerns and promptly resolve and engage appropriate HR or WTI management. Ensure documentation of employee issues is prompt and submitted to HR. Act as an agent of change and improvement , and adapt quickly to changing business priorities. Manage key metrics and report on a regular basis or as required. Coordinate work with Program Managers, Sales & Service Support, Customer Management (WTI & Tremco Roofing), and Resource Management. Participate in the Preventive and Corrective Action process with responsibility and authority to: Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity relating to service, process, and quality. Identify and record any service, process, or quality system problems. Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels. Verify the implementation of solutions. Control further processing, delivery, or installation of non-conforming products until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected. GC Manager will have Cost Model approval authority for projects whose Gross Margin for Service exceeds the stated requirements. Further approvals may be needed. Ensure the region's profitability by effectively managing the team and processes with the available tools. Assist when needed to review proposals received, conduct contractor interviews for specification and contractual compliance. Approve Proposals for submission (i.e., pricing, specification, scope). Direct Project Manager, technicians, and superintendents. Assist when needed with change order negotiation and approval. Regular communication with the Regional Business Manager regarding: Safety compliance Project approvals, planning, and results. Personnel and process management Any issues related to the above that will require collaboration or elevation of authority. Deep understanding of all Construction Management tasks Deep knowledge of Tremco / WTI policies and procedures. Understanding of financial reports Understanding of superintendent roles & responsibilities Understanding of the various Cooperative Purchasing options available in the region. Understanding of State and Local construction code compliance. Understanding of Tremco, WTI, and OSHA safety requirements. Communications: Superior written, verbal, and digital communication skills Must have excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service approach when dealing with sales reps. QUALIFICATIONS:
5-10 years of prior experience in a results-oriented leadership role for a regional, cross-functional team within the building construction industry. Prior experience leading a staff in remote multi-state locations. Experience in an influential role where extraordinary results were achieved through accountability and leading others to achieve and maintain a high performance standard. Prior experience clearly defining expectations, articulating ideas, thoughts, and views, and providing continual, timely, frank, and direct feedback to others. Proven experience with setting strategy and establishing plans for business growth. Prior experience working between multiple departments that support regional compliance and profitability. Must have prior hands-on experience with handling business transactions, procedures, and practices, including but not limited to, pricing, company vehicles, safety, order entry, estimating, general contracting procedures, designation and duties of employees, warranties, quality assurance practices, service offerings, etc.

Can service customers in a compliant and financially solvent manner.
