As a Social Worker within this team, your primary responsibility will be to undertake comprehensive assessments of individuals’ needs. Based on these assessments, you will develop person-centred care plans that outline tailored interventions and support services. This is a highly empowering role as you will be working with service users to achieve their personal goals.
About you:
To be qualified for this role you must hold a Social Work degree and be registered with Social Work England. You should have strong experience working within a Mental Health Team as an Adult Social Worker and a understanding of relevant legislation.

Day to day role responsibilities will include:
Assist in the creation of new content across the home’s social media platforms and support the monitoring and responding to comments in line with the home’s policies and procedures
Research and plan a yearly social media schedule to ensure key events, such as Volunteers Week and Adopt a Shelter Animal Day, are recognised and promoted
Work alongside the Animal Welfare Staff to safely film and produce TikTok/social media videos with the animals, staying up to date with current social media trends
Engage with Retail Manager and shops to create posts which support the marketing and promotion of Danaher Charity shops and their products
Engage professionally and proactively with customers and followers across social media platforms
Contribute to the creation of posters and visual media to promote the home and its work
Attend events at the home to capture and share content for social media and marketing purposes
Undertake sector specific research around social media trends and activities to bring forward new ideas and develop our social media offer
Provide support to the Social Media and Marketing Manager with the administration of the Corporate Sponsorship Programme and similar as required
Update the ‘Success Stories’ and ‘News and Events’ sections of the website with relevant information
Undertake any other duties as directed by the Social Media and Marketing Manager
Training:
The apprentice will be working towards the Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
All delivered within the workplace via online training and at Colchester Institute Campus every other week

After this apprenticeship, there are a variety of career paths an applicant could pursue
Potential roles include Social Media Coordinator, Content Creator, Digital Marketing Assistant, or Marketing Assistant/Manager. We are looking for a Social Worker to join an Adult Mental Health Team.
This role requires a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience.
About the Team
This team works together in accordance with the Care Act. They are responsible for assessing and reviewing the social care needs of adults who have primary mental health concerns. The team undertakes safeguarding enquires and work with the safeguarding Adults Manager to manage risk and ensure safeguarding outcomes are met.
About you
A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with adults. You’ll have a solid understanding of the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity act 2005, the Mental Health Act 2007 and the Human Rights Act 1998. Driving is desirable but not essential.

A recently CQC 'Good' rated, Kent-based Local Authority is looking for an Social Worker, within a Hospital team.
This post works within an integrated discharge team to contribute to the delivery of highly effective children and adult services (within Adult Social Care) in an efficient manner. This service covers both the acute and non-acute sites across the authority and out of area hospitals. We have been at the forefront of changes in the hospitals discharge to assess model. This can either be in a health bed, social care step down bed or in the persons’ own home. This role also includes a role in the emergency department of the acute hospital by working with other health colleagues.
Benefits for you:
