Here's what you can expect every day:
Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects or deviations from standards, and make adjustments as necessary.
Determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality by performing visual inspections, or by using machinery.
Weigh or measure chemicals, coatings, or paints before adding them to machines.
Select appropriate coatings, paints, or sprays, or prepare them by mixing substances according to formulas, using automated paint mixing equipment.
Set up and operate machines to paint or coat products with such materials as silver and copper solution, rubber, paint, glaze, oil, or rustproofing materials.
Turn dials, handwheels, valves, or switches to regulate conveyor speeds, machine temperature, air pressure, and circulation, and the flow or spray of coatings or paints.
Start and stop operation of machines, using levers or buttons.
Record operational data on specified forms.
Start pumps to mix solutions and fill tanks.
Operate auxiliary machines or equipment used in coating or painting processes.
Required Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years of experience in manufacturing/chemical processing environment.
Prior paint manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
Good written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to work well with other peer groups.
Knowledge of industrial safety regulations.

Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate. Inspecting drives, motors, and belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or performing other maintenance actions, following checklists. Using tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. Assemble, install, or repair: wiring, piping, machinery, and equipment. Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Diagnose mechanical problems and determining how to correct them, utilizing repair manuals and parts catalogs as necessary. Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work. Required Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent. 1-3 years of industrial experience. Experience with filling and packaging equipment. Keeping clients close — not just winning them — is a key part of the brief.
Success in this role requires strong negotiation skills, confidence presenting to senior stakeholders and the ability to interpret technical requirements when working with engineered components and site‑based services. Experience in solution‑based selling, territory planning and pipeline generation is important, along with a background in field‑based sales. Candidates from industrial distribution, engineering services or similar product areas will also be considered.

Based in their residential homes, you will work with young people aged 5-18 who have suffered severe childhood trauma linked to exploitation, neglect, domestic violence and abuse. Your role will be to work with them to help them understand their trauma, help them re-establish a positive view of the world, work with the inhouse clinical team to work to a comprehensive therapeutic plan for each child.
The Residential Support Worker role requires full commitment, this is a serious career path that requires self-sacrifice in order to ensure the young people are always put first and receive the support they need. The job will involve long hours (sometimes 24 hour shifts), overnight sleep in shifts, alternate weekends, sometimes you will need to stay beyond your shift ending to ensure safe handover or bed time routines.
