Purpose of the role: You shall be involved in a range of consultancy projects and take responsibility for your own projects. Collaborating with the technical and consultancy teams to deliver excellent and accurate services.
Key duties, responsibilities and objectives
• Participate in any ad-hoc technical consultancy projects regarding menu checks, allergens and nutrition as and when received.• Assist in specification validations/approvals on Food Alert System Assure 65. Client requirements vary, ensure spec check process is followed, including technical, legal and to customer policy. Keep trackers up to date, ensure SLAs are met and ensure queries are responded to in a timely manner.• Manage specification writing projects. Write accurate and legal specifications in customer formats as required. Request access to data via email or remote connection, evaluate and learn client processes to ensure we are delivering to their ways of working, request gold standard specifications. Double-check all data written into specification for spelling, accuracy and compliance to the most recent Food Information regulations/customer codes of practice. Ensure the specifications are quality checked internally and client deadlines are met.• Familiarise yourself with customer projects, products and timescales, using an internal workflow tracker.• Create raw material and finished product specification trackers with structured detail and timelines.• Keep all data and information consistent and compliant with company policy/customer codes of practice.• Stay up to date with specification platforms like Tesco TQC, Hive, MCreate, Evolve, Igloo, M&S Find, Nutritics. Responsibilities
Implement, develop, and sustain the DAP Quality Management System which includes: Safety, Documentation and Change Control, Supplier Control, Measurement Systems Analysis and Calibration/Validation, Product Conformance, Process Control and Capability, Complaint Investigation/Root Cause and Corrective Action Implementation, Continuous Improvement, Training, and Semi-Annual Auditing. Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of experience in the related field. Polyurethane Foam, Paint, Coating, Adhesive and Sealant industry experience preferred. Knowledge and demonstrated application of industry standard Quality Management practices. Demonstrated application of Statistical Process Control and Process Capability Analysis. Understanding of analytical tools such as Gauge R&R Studies and Measurement Capability Studies. Experience with material testing and generally accepted laboratory practices. Very strong problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of the organization including manufacturing plants, technical and management personnel. Strong written and verbal communication skills. ASQ Six Sigma certifications are preferred.

This is a permanent part-time role with a three-month probationary period. The post is part-time based on a 20-hour week, working between Monday to Friday, between 8 am and 6 pm, working hours to be confirmed. The salary is £14,400 pro rata (full-time equivalent £27,000).

The Post
The Assistant Management Accountant role will be responsible primarily for supporting the Finance Manager and Finance Director with the preparation of monthly management accounts, the annual budget and financial statements for the Ethical Property Company. This will involve business partnering with centre managers and budget holders, meeting regularly and providing finance support to the business. Some UK travel using public transport is required.Tasks include:
• Monthly bank reconciliation.• Balance Sheet reconciliations.• Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts.• Send management accounts to budget holders and assist with any queries.• Reviewing financial information with the Finance manager and budget holders.• Management of the fixed assets register, including depreciation calculations and verification exercises.
