You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers This is a purpose built care home designed for older people requiring general or dementia residential and nursing care **To be considered for this role you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin** As the Unit Manager your key responsibilities include:· You will provide inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and oversee the delivery of high quality clinical and pastoral care· You will be the homes nurse expert and your role will be a combination of utilising your nursing skills as well as your managerial and leadership skills· You will focus on residents with complex needs, so it’s vital that you can conform with the latest guidelines, take far-reaching decisions and maintain the highest levels of clinical governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures· Care plan development and assessments· Look after all our residents alongside the team and offer personalised centred care The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: · Experience in a similar role· The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care· Good working knowledge of CQC standards· The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams· Good clinical skills· Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary up to £50,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 36 hours a week working through day shifts.
