JOB DESCRIPTION GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The WTI Field Resources Supervisor (Supervisor) is responsible for the timely delivery of services, profitability, and all employee management and training within their respective region. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate with the Field Resource Foreman (Foreman) for staffing and scheduling of all WTI Field Resources Reps (Field Reps) in their respective region to ensure proper utilization of manpower on specific jobs for the highest profitability. Collaborate with other Supervisors as necessary. Oversee the Quality Control (QC) process in conjunction with the Quality Control Specialist (QCS) of all the Field Reps in the region, which will include random site visits to current and previous job sites and proper documentation to ensure that all work was completed properly and that the customer is fully satisfied. Ensure profitability within the region by monitoring and managing employee expenses for accuracy and abuse, use of overtime hours, and all full-time personnel's billable time to meet the required percentage. The Supervisor should stress the profitability factor to all field personnel. Field all questions and concerns from the Field Reps and handle all discrepancies between the Field Reps and the Sales Reps. Conduct and foster professional and timely communication (via email, text message, voicemail, or in person) with the customers, Sales Reps, field staff, and internal company personnel on all work-related matters. Be the primary contact for the office personnel if there are any issues concerning a Field Rep. Ensure all Field Reps will have a professional appearance and demeanor while completing services for a customer. Conduct and/or assist with the training (both hands-on field training and classroom setting) for the Field Reps, according to the WTI Training Policy, to include: Proper completion of all services and related paperwork. Safety training and training documentation for all Field Reps within the region. These items will include updates on work performed, materials consumed (T&M projects), and supplies purchased. Ensure all WTI Field Resources Reps (Field Reps) have a professional appearance and customer interaction while completing services for a customer. Responsible for ordering, tracking, and monitoring inventory and ensuring quarterly cycle counts are completed and submitted timely. Provide pricing for self-performing projects over $12,500. Submit all proposals of over $20,000 to the Supervisor for review and approval before submitting them to the GS Administrator for logging and distribution to the Sales Rep. Monitor and manage the Field Reps. Consult with the Supervisor to take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee work-related issues and necessary documentation. Work with the Supervisor to elevate the issues to HR as required. Coordinate with the Supervisor to create project schedules. Review time reports daily and make necessary corrections with the admin team. Attending all appropriate calls, meetings, and trainings. Perform any other duties and/or projects as required or assigned by the Supervisor or Regional Business Manager. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years of experience in the roofing industry. Must be thoroughly familiar with built-up, EPDM, PVC, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems, as well as metal and other steep-sloop roofing systems, and how to repair them properly. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: 30-hour OSHA certification Registered Roof Observer (RRO) preferred but not required. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to travel out of town, including overnight stays. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. In addition, the Field Estimator serves as a key liaison to field teams, effectively communicating project scope and expectations to foremen and technicians through both verbal and written means. Other essential responsibilities include attending pre-bid meetings, capturing accurate field measurements, and providing thorough photo documentation to support proposals and planning.
