As the Operations Manager your key responsibilities include:
Provide effective leadership and management, including the appropriate people are recruited for the key roles and ensure they are trained to complete their role. Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that aligns with the company vision and values
Monitor and manage the financial and business performance of the homes, including budgeting, financial reporting, and business development. Identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to achieve financial targets
Ensure that the homes are compliant with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Implement Action plans to maintain compliance and manage risks
Maintain and enhance the quality of care and environment provided to residents. Monitor and evaluate care delivery processes and outcomes, and implement improvements as needed. Ensure that the care home provides a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for residents
Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Address and resolve any concerns or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
Implement performance monitoring and reporting systems to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and outcomes. Prepare regular reports for senior management and regional operations director
Identify training needs for the managers to enhance their skills and knowledge. Provide ongoing support and mentoring to senior staff to ensure continuous improvement in their performance
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Proven experience in managing operations in a care home or similar healthcare setting
Excellent people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to deliver exceptional service
Strong knowledge of financial management, compliance, and regulatory requirements in the care home industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions to achieve business objectives
Knowledge of best practices in quality care and environment for elderly residents
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Hold a full UK driving licence

A well-established dental practice in Masterton is seeking an experienced private dentist to join their supportive and collaborative clinical team.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.00pm in a busy modern clinic with an established patient base. The practice provides a wide range of treatments including general dentistry, cosmetic procedures and emergency care, with particular strength in oral surgery, endodontics and periodontics.
The clinic is well equipped with modern technology including rotary endodontics, intraoral cameras and scanners, OPG imaging, digital x-rays, Airflow systems and surgical motors. These facilities allow clinicians to provide efficient, high-quality patient care across a broad range of procedures.
You will work alongside a supportive team of experienced dentists, dental assistants, reception staff and a practice manager, ensuring a well organised and collaborative working environment.
The successful candidate will ideally have at least one to two years of clinical experience and be confident across the full range of general dentistry procedures. Experience with implants, surgical extractions and endodontics would be particularly beneficial. Strong communication skills, professionalism and the ability to discuss treatment options clearly with patients are essential.
Masterton is the largest town in the Wairarapa region and offers an excellent lifestyle with a strong sense of community. JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The WTI Field Resources Supervisor (Supervisor) is responsible for the timely delivery of services, profitability, and all employee management and training within their respective region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate with the Field Resource Foreman (Foreman) for staffing and scheduling of all WTI Field Resources Reps (Field Reps) in their respective region to ensure proper utilization of manpower on specific jobs for the highest profitability. Collaborate with other Supervisors as necessary.
Oversee the Quality Control (QC) process in conjunction with the Quality Control Specialist (QCS) of all the Field Reps in the region, which will include random site visits to current and previous job sites and proper documentation to ensure that all work was completed properly and that the customer is fully satisfied.
Ensure profitability within the region by monitoring and managing employee expenses for accuracy and abuse, use of overtime hours, and all full-time personnel's billable time to meet the required percentage. The Supervisor should stress the profitability factor to all field personnel.
Field all questions and concerns from the Field Reps and handle all discrepancies between the Field Reps and the Sales Reps.
Conduct and foster professional and timely communication (via email, text message, voicemail, or in person) with the customers, Sales Reps, field staff, and internal company personnel on all work-related matters.
Be the primary contact for the office personnel if there are any issues concerning a Field Rep.
Ensure all Field Reps will have a professional appearance and demeanor while completing services for a customer.
Conduct and/or assist with the training (both hands-on field training and classroom setting) for the Field Reps, according to the WTI Training Policy, to include:
Proper completion of all services and related paperwork.
Safety training and training documentation for all Field Reps within the region.
Approval and certification of each Field Rep, including, but not limited to, OSHA Hazard Awareness, Toolbox Talks, etc.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of all services provided.
Manage, monitor, and document the performance of Field Reps and take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee and work-related issues. Consult with the Regional Business Manager (RBM) and HR as needed.
Work with the HR and Recruiting department to hire all new personnel. Ensure all required paperwork is submitted to the corporate office on a timely basis.
Conduct new employee orientation for all new hires, including training on all company policies, administrative processes, procedures, and required technical and safety information.
Handle all administrative matters and corresponding paperwork within the region, including, but not limited to, expense management, monthly sales projections, Field Tech time management, status reports, bidding jobs with Reps, large job sign-offs, project documentation, etc.
Review time reports daily and make necessary corrections with the admin team.
Attend all required calls and meetings.
Perform any other duties and/or projects as required or assigned by the RBM.

Qualifications:
Prior supervisory skills and ability to manage people and tasks.
Prior roofing experience, including patch and repair skills.
Knowledge of Project Management, planning, and scheduling.
Knowledge and experience in monitoring and maintaining quality control.
Functional computer skills.
Safety training and OSHA knowledge.
Understanding of budgeting and expense management.

Ability to travel out of town, including overnight stays.
