About the Role
We are seeking a Radio-communications Support Analyst with expertise in Airwave Radio Networks to support and administer overt radio communications. You will be responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining Motorola and Sepura radios across the estate, ensuring secure and effective communications for emergency services and public safety.
Key Responsibilities
Administration, configuration, and maintenance of Motorola and Sepura radios.Managing and troubleshooting the Airwave Radio Network to ensure uninterrupted service.Supporting and maintaining the Motorola Integrated Terminal Manager (ITM) and Sepura Radio Manager.Providing technical support to ensure all radio communication systems are fully operational.Working across office, forcewide, and onsite locations as required.
What We’re Looking For
Knowledge of radio communications systems, particularly Airwave Radio Networks.Experience in configuring and maintaining Motorola and Sepura radio equipment.Familiarity with Motorola ITM and Sepura Radio Manager (desirable).Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced operational environment.

You are responsible for design, planning, and drawing work on all BT Tower and radio sites. These are vital connections to ensure our rigging engineers have the right detail and information to be able to install both BT and customer equipment across BT’s estate as well as clear structural faults.

An ICT could be installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and/or software faults, solving technical and applications problems, either remotely or in person. Some examples of these issues are slow performance, connection problems, and an inability to access data.Training:Step 1 - You'll start with your initial military training which teaches you how to be a soldier, covering everything from fieldcraft to how to handle a rifle.

Step 3 - After this, you will begin your initial communications training which will take place over a period of 4 weeks.
