CNC Miller Programmer responsibilities:
- Programming, setting and operating CNC machines using Fanuc controls.
- Prove out CNC programs ensuring the highest quality is maintained and the machining processes are running efficiently to maximise productivity.
- Programme parts using SolidCam.
- Maintaining highest quality throughout the process using a variety of measuring equipment.
- Work on their own initiative and accurately to time specific requirements.

CNC Miller Programmer requirements:
- Previous experience of programming within a precision machining centre is essential.

As a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you'll play a pivotal role within our client's team, ensuring they meet business performance commitments to key stakeholders. Your main focus will be overseeing the Manufacturing Engineering function across their site.
This involves defining and enhancing new products for release to manufacture post-design phase, managing cost improvement objectives, and providing crucial technical support to the operational function.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to manufacturing for product/process design and functionality.
Maintain collaborative relationships with Product Management and Engineering teams.
Manage a team of ten individuals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success
Drive implementation of LEAN and CI practices.
Achieve labour and material cost reduction goals aligned with site objectives.
Initiate disruptive cost reduction plans within existing processes.
Resolve manufacturing issues promptly to mitigate product quality risks.
Support training initiatives and address corrective actions as necessary.
Establish and uphold best practice operational processes, particularly for clean rooms.
Assist Quality, Supply Chain & Manufacturing Managers to meet customer needs.
Take ownership of collating and presenting COPQ data, including yield and cycle times.

GENERAL SUMMARY:Addressing technical, formulation and application issues within current color laboratory. Monitor formulations for accuracy, correct entry and insure correct QC, fill-off and manufacturing parameters are recorded. We are an international leader in the manufacture and distribution of small domestic products and appliances. Due to ambitious expansion and development plans, we are actively looking to appoint a Quality Assurance Technician to join our in-house QA Team.
Based at their site in Stoke-on-Trent, as a member of the Quality Assurance Team, you will be testing products, assessing function, performance and build quality within a Laboratory environment to ensure that the products are fit for market and meet the required standard for the brand.
This will involve; samples for assessment to include first samples, pre-shipment samples and stock samples tested and assessed following departmental procedures.
You will also be assessing returned products and establishing the reason for failure and will become familiar with UK & EU standards and legislation.
As a result, you will contribute towards the development of successful products by aiding the designers and engineers in the development stage through test reports, design input and root cause analysis of issues identified.
Ideally applicants will have previous experience of working in a test facility (either in-house or an external test house) or have hands-on experience of completing the QA testing procedure.
Ideally, candidates should have:
Hands on mechanical and/or electrical skills
Excellent attention to detail.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Organised and structured with a drive for a clean, orderly, tidy and safe working environment.
Computer literate with good abilities with MS Excel & Word.
