Due to recent expansion, a growing Internal Auditing Organisation is currently looking for a few Internal Auditors to help with their growing workload. The offices are based in Cannock, but the company offer hybrid working meaning you will only need to be in the office two or three times a week.
The company provides internal auditing services for a range of organisations, mainly in public sector services, charity, and local government sectors. It would be useful if you have experience in these fields; however, if your internal auditing experience has been varied, it would be good to hear from you.
You will need to have at least 12 months of experience as an Internal Auditor; however, we are open to candidates who have more experience, as the role can be developed into a Senior Internal Auditor role for someone with five plus years of experience.
It would be great if you have any industry qualifications in Internal Auditing or are working towards any qualifications. The company will help with your qualifications when needed and has been involved with different industry bodies in the past.

Liaise with staff and external stakeholders as required to undertake internal audit assignments
Prepare audit terms of reference for internal audit assignments including identifying key risks and developing an audit scope and approach
Prepare internal audit reports to a draft stage in the agreed format and to internal quality standards as laid out in the audit manual

Research the activities being audited by walking through how they operate a task/process; and reviewing policy, processes and standards related to the activity being audited
Assist with data gathering, analysis and interpretation through face-to-face, email and other forms of data-gathering practises used in the council
Documenting the business process and control environment and validating the process
Identifying and evaluating governance, risks, and controls through assessing what you find against governance policies and procedures set out in an organisation
Performing tests and analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of controls (i.e. do the controls protect the organisation against the potential risks, as identified by the organisation, management, or internal control functions)
Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and exposures and make practical recommendations for improvement

Mobile Auditor (RAS-SCI)
Crawley Full-time Permanent. £28,246.4 per Annum
At RAS Supply Chain Integrity, we protect stock accuracy for major Retailers across their supply chains. From inbound deliveries to outbound dispatch or at the back-door of the stores, we make sure stock is right, errors are caught early, and retailers can trust what reaches their shelves.
We are looking for Mobile Auditors to join our UK-wide mobile audit team and lead daily stock accuracy checks.
The Role
This is a hands-on role based on a geographical location working at our customers stores or DC’s. You’ll take responsibility for daily auditing output and accuracy, ensuring stock matches paperwork, delivery requests, and operational expectations. You’ll manage your own schedule and route, deliver audits, drive performance, and keep standards consistently high. If you’re naturally precise, enjoy structured work, and take pride in getting it right first time, prefer to move around for work, this role is for you.
What you’ll be doing
Leading daily stock accuracy audits on pallets, cages, and trailer loads
Checking outbound or inbound loads against driver paperwork
Verifying incoming deliveries and highlighting discrepancies quickly
Monitoring audit data to spot trends, errors, and performance gaps
Ensuring daily KPIs are achieved across both quality and output
Maintaining clear documentation and audit records
Supporting continuous improvement and raising standards on site
Managing your own time and delivery
What We’re Looking For
You’ll suit this role if you’re accurate, structured, and confident leading others.
You’ll need
Experience in a warehouse environment (audit, checking, stock control, dispatch, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and confidence with basic calculations
Comfortable leading a team and managing performance
Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
Basic Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge
Able to stay focused and consistent in a fast-paced environment
Must be aged 18+
Driving License essential, vehicle preferred.
Hours and Shift Pattern
40 hours per week (plus daily 30-minute unpaid break)
5 days out of 7
Working environment: Ambient
