You’ll be joining a business with a strong pipeline of data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, and high-tech builds across Germany, the UK, and the EU. The position offers long-term security, exposure to flagship projects, and clear progression into regional / EMEA leadership.
This is a site-led, delivery-focused role - not a desk-based controls position. The successful candidate must be willing to travel and stay away as projects require.
The Role will include:
Taking full ownership of the BMS / Controls / EPMS package from design through construction, commissioning, and handover
Acting as the technical authority for BMS across one or multiple projects
Managing and coordinating BMS subcontractors, system integrators, and vendors
Reviewing BMS and M&E design information to ensure buildability, compliance, and programme alignment
Leading technical discussions with consultants, client teams, and internal delivery teams

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Is responsible for managing all Self-Perform Projects and the associated customers (Including GC and large-scale P&R, TremCare, etc.). This involves working with the Project Foreman, Superintendent, Construction Manager, and Sales Reps associated with the project, to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedule and manage self-perform crews via daily interaction and oversight of crew foreman.When subcontractors are necessary/present on majority self-perform projects, act as liaison to CM for boots on the ground subcontractor oversight (as needed).
Implement and understand project administration requirements.
Create, update, and communicate project schedules and updates.
Control expectations and challenges to keep project on schedule and running efficiently.
Ensure Quality Control/Quality Management of all scope items.
Verify that all project work complies with contract documents.
Be responsible for resolving project issues and problems, providing coordination between self-perform crews, subcontractors, Sales Reps, and owner operations, affirming specifications are followed in accordance with Tremco standards.
Ensure the profitability of the region by effectively managing the team and processes with the tools available including collaboration with the RBM.
Generate reports on project status and ensure owner satisfaction.
Aid in takeoff of opportunities and creation of scope and quantity specifics for project opportunities, as needed.
Participate in CG/CM, Sales Team, and Ops Management related coordination and collaboration.
Provide QA and QC inspections and training at all levels of work to achieve the highest standards of Tremco/WTI roofing practices so that the Tremco Sales team will increase their market share of performed work to WTI. These areas include:
Field applications - existing and new materials, systems, applications, etc.
Customer service
Reporting compliance
Communicate on a routine basis with the RBM regarding:
Safety compliance results
Project approvals, planning, and results
Personnel and process management
All issues that require collaboration or elevation of authority

The following is what you will be trained to do during the 2 year apprenticeship.
The role involves supporting site management with health & safety, quality assurance, planning, communication, and programme monitoring to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
Key Objectives
Site Setup
Attend project handover meetings with the Contract Manager (CM), and Estimating team
Assist the CM in setting up the site office and project files
Support the setup and delivery of site inductions for all personnel working on the project
Daily Site Management
Assist with organising and managing site deliveries in line with project requirements
Attend daily site briefings such as Safe Start meetings or daily activity briefings organised by the main contractor
Ensure site documentation and daily records are maintained
Quality Management
Ensure Quality Assurance (QA) processes are implemented and followed throughout the project
Develop knowledge of all products being used on the project, particularly fire-related systems and their correct installation requirements
Ensure inspections are completed as required and that any defects are recorded and closed out
Site Health & Safety
Maintain and complete all required documentation within the site health and safety files
Assist in preparing and updating Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
Communication
Monitor project email chains and communications to stay informed of updates and project developments
Weekly Internal Contracts Meetings
Proactive Site Management
The Apprentice Project Manager is expected to develop proactive thinking by regularly reviewing upcoming site activities, including:
Planned works for upcoming weeks
Material and equipment requirements
Fixings and consumables
Site readiness for upcoming works

Opportunities to off-hire unused plant
Cost Awareness and Site Efficiency
Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the company objective of completing works on fixed-price labour wherever possible
