Tremco CPG, Inc is currently looking for a Government Business Development Sales Specialist. This position is responsible for developing and supporting State and Federal Government sales activities that contribute to Regional Sales Growth. Primary goals include Developing new business, selling more to and retaining existing State and Federal Government customers, and reducing the amount of time sales reps spend on non-selling activities.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Field Technical Representative ensures proper application of Tremco CPG products in accordance with all company and industry guidelines by providing on-site application and problem resolution.

Provide independent support for primary territory product lines. Recommend products and solutions outside of primary product lines with occasional direction. Provide site support by performing general and complex product applications. Perform substrate analysis using specialty equipment. Manage retain room filing and disposal. Sustain lab 5S (QC lab and retain room). EDUCATION

Explore solutions to production problems or improve efficiency with maintenance and operators. Review process flow diagrams and piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs). Meet with plant technical staff to discuss technical information and features. Participate in failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) and Process Hazard analysis (PHA) to consider equipment, personnel, and environmental safety. Knowledge of capital approval process and project justification required. Be involved in the design and development of equipment and work procedures. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
B.S. degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. Preferred, 2+ years working in a Manufacturing environment, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Electrical Schematic and panel layout design using CAD (preferably AutoCAD Electrical) experience. Experience in the design of programmable logic controllers (PLC) or distributed control system (DCS) based controls systems. Expertise in National Electrical Code requirements in industrial facilities and hazardous locations. Proven understanding of integrating instrumentation with data acquisition hardware. Proficiency with electrical diagnostic equipment.
